Bottle. A slow gusher, producing an almost clear, golden body and a finger-thick off-white head. Belgo-style aroma with fruity notes and sweetish maltyness. Grass, some apples and sweetness in the flavor, typical Belgian style. Quite fruity. A bit thin on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Some bitterness. Fruity finish with a pleasant bitterness. Well, it’s sort of ordinary in a way, but it’s a nice beer anyway. 121005

Malty nose. Pale beige large head. Hazy pale brown reddish color. Yeasty and lemoney average hopped taste. Some fruitiness too. At the end hop bitterness.

Trade with gunnar. Batch 616. Enjoyed on a Good Friday. Fast gusher, delivering as promised by the label. Luckily, I had a glass at hand. Pours a clear sparkling deep nut orange body with a beige head. Rock sugar, coriander seeds, alcohol on the nose. Clean impression. Full bodied, sweet and spicy. Overcarbonated, alcohol noticable. Wooden notes. Peppery bitterness that lingers.

Kaatuu lasiin kuparinruskeana ja sameana, vaahdon ollessa melko runsas ja solukkomainen. Haju on belgihiivainen, sitruksinen, mausteisen pippurinen, korianterinen, viilinen ja kuivatun hedelmäinen. Maku on mausteinen, kermaviilinen, sitruksinen, belgihiivainen, yrttinen, banaaninen ja ruohoinen. Suutuntuma on täyteläinen humalan pistellessä kitalaen takaosaa ja hiilihapon kielen etureunaa. Kokonaisuutena tämä on kyllä oikein maistuva olut, mutta jotenkin tasapaksu. Kaikkea on vähän, muttei mikään nouse muiden ylitse.

Bottle. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is sugar, alcohol, malt, yeast. Flavour is sugar, alcohol, malt, yeast, caramel. Medium to full body. Nice beer.

Bottle at home, batch 616. Hazy dark reddish brown color with medium white head. Aroma of sweetness, citrus, hops, malts. Malty sweet body, some hops, rye bread. Quite nice and refreshing.

Klar og bohemisk pils-aktig i glasset, svak lukt av frukt og belgisk gjær. Smaken er mild, med toner og aprikos, gjær og noe vag karamell. Noe syrlighet i avslutningen. Meget lettdrikkelig og egentlig ingen opplevelse... Color me unimpressed.

Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, caramel, herbs and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
