Bottled (From Alko, Vaasa). Hazy amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, some herbs, mild yeast and some slight alcohol. Flavour is slight wooden tartness along with caramel, toffee, some herbs and spices. Quite yeasty and bready as well. Quite pleasant.

yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2013
Bottle. A slow gusher, producing an almost clear, golden body and a finger-thick off-white head. Belgo-style aroma with fruity notes and sweetish maltyness. Grass, some apples and sweetness in the flavor, typical Belgian style. Quite fruity. A bit thin on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Some bitterness. Fruity finish with a pleasant bitterness. Well, it’s sort of ordinary in a way, but it’s a nice beer anyway. 121005

500ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
7 Initially on pouring the aroma was almost like an English ale with its hoppiness. It was only when in the glass that the yeasty malts kicked in, and planted this firmly in the Belgian camp.
4 Rich orange. Fairly persistent tight off-white head.
7 Nice earthy bitterness, some spicy nettley retronasals. Good rustic bready grainy body. Very nice attenuation, properly dry, very little sweetness at all. At first, I could taste the alcohol, but that fades once you’ve had a mouthful of all of the other components.
4 Lovely crisp refreshing palate, that attenuation is a big win. Lively carbonation - you’ll be burping this if you drink it at the rate that the refreshingness tells you you could/should. Ignore that 6.5% on the side - this is a damn tasty quaffer. Finish, whilst harking back to the Belgian yeast, has enough earthy hops that it again reminds me of a good English strong bitter’s finish. Nice tingle that would be shamefully rare in UK beers nowadays, but Nogne know what hops are for, and they’re showing that here.
14 Can’t fault this - it’s very solid in every aspect. Not wowing me, but certainly it’s not done anything wrong. Love the attenuation, yes that’s the third time I mentioned it, and the dry bitter finish.

Miksu (4537) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUN 2, 2012
0.5 l bottle. Reddish amber color. Aromas and flavors of toffee, nuts as well as floral-lemony notes. Full bodied, and feels very filling. Good solid ale, more like an amber ale to me. Goes nicely with soft cheeses. A bit too heavy and filling, but easter beers are traditionally thick and nutritious.
