COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing is like celebrating your own milestones. This is a celebration of our 500th batch of ale. It was brewed with joy and splendor; the brewer wore a suit, and a TV station filmed the event. As a base for this ale, we have elected to play with numbers: 5 hops, 100 IBUs, 10% alcohol by volume. Indeed it is an Imperial India Pale Ale. Big and bold. Great for a celebration!

Bottled. Aroma of floral hops dominates. Color is honey hazy golden copper. Taste is awesome! Initial malt becomes hoppy in anfew seconds and finishes with a long lasting hoppy aftertaste. The hops becomes really strong after a minute or two of swallowing. Alcohol warming, deceptive. Overall a good imperial IPA.

Pours copper with white head. Aroma is exotic fruits, pine, honey and birch. It’s the whole of the forest in here! Flavour is heavy bitter, light to medium sweet, fruity and fresh. Very, very nice DIIPA.

500mL bottle from Wine Centre Kilkenny. Pours an orange juice like dull amber into the tulip glass, small off white head that dissipates quickly, good lacing on the glass. Reminds me of some of the Stone Brewing DIPA’s in the aroma, definitely an American style Imperial, big grapefruit and tropical fruit hop aromas plus a pretty sizeable malt backbone. Taste is all bitter grapefruit and floral hops up front. Finish is smoother than expected due to the bready, cereal like malt foundation. Big oily mouthfeel with keeps the bitterness on the tongue long after the sip is over. Impressive.

Hefe rauf und runter, aber zumindest keine Banane, wenn auch schwer und süß. Gewöhnungsbedürftig mit einer guten Prise Früchte und Sämigkeit. Kann man trinken, aber eigentlich nix Besonderes.

Bottle from trade with Meilby - many thanks to you, Kenni! The beer pours out in a cloudy dirty amber colour with fat yeast chunks ( one really looked like a face!), smooth body and steady head. Aroma of yeast and hops. Taste of sweet yeast, overripe fruits, wheat, light hops and bread. Sweet-yeasty finish. Too sweet for me.

Orange medium to full body with a white lacing. Hoppy aroma with some citrus maybe and just that. Full hoppy and sweet taste with caramel. Medium lasting aftertaste. Shows her alcohol soonly.

Brown 0,5L btl 10%omg, off white flat head, slightly hazy amber body. Scents of resin, strong fruity malts, sour apricot, orange peel. Taste; strong fruity malts, oranges, hops, some bitter, some alcohol. Hotshots on palate, abv tells a great deal about it. Finishes warming fruity malts, orange peel syrup, lingering. #1020 TAP270813 BBF27aug17 b@vinmonopolet, tasted@home.

500 ml bottle shared with calm_dreamer. Bottle fro trade with gunnar(thanks a lot man). Dark orange color with a thin beige head. Aromas of hops and maybe some tangerines and lemon. Bitter and sweet taste at the same time. Fruits, sweet ones especially with some toffee and some yeast notes. Hippy aftertaste. Medium body with low carbonation.
