Nothing is like celebrating your own milestones. This is a celebration of our 500th batch of ale. It was brewed with joy and splendor; the brewer wore a suit, and a TV station filmed the event. As a base for this ale, we have elected to play with numbers: 5 hops, 100 IBUs, 10% alcohol by volume. Indeed it is an Imperial India Pale Ale. Big and bold. Great for a celebration!

Poured from bottle to a shaker showing very hazy and cloudy dark caramel with practically no head a just a few mm of white foam. The nose shows a lot of sweet caramel and honey-like malts with barely perceivable hints of pine. The palate is medium bodied with medium carbonation showing a lot of sweetness reminiscent of honey, caramel, and corn. The typical sharp IPA bitterness is extremely toned down by the sweetness leaving a very high bitterness that seems to come out of nowhere. The sweetness is also a poor mix of the above rather than a straight forward sugary cane sweetness. The flavors seem to be everywhere without any focus as the sweetness switches from too many different types at once.

Pours beatiful orange, nice lacing. Aroma: herbs, pine tree, some citrus and a touch of honey. Taste: really nice heavy malt foundation. On top of that tons of pine tree, a touch of peach and some grass. This is a mighty, thic, super drinkable ipa. The well hidden 10% ABV (only a pleasant alcoholic element present in the taste) makes it extremly dangerous. Fantastic stuff.

Zrównoważona, wolno opadająca drobnopęcherzykowa piana. Piękna barwa bursztynu, średni poziom zmętnienia. W aromacie dominuje zapach słodyczy - skojarzenie z miodem spadziowym, goździkami, wyczuwalna paloność. Goryczka niewyczuwalna, idealnie zakamuflowane 100 IBU.

Początek to chmiel: trawa, żywica, sosna. Kontrowany od razu potęga słodową. Końcówka wyraźnie alkoholowo goryczkowa.

BOTTLE 50 CL from SharkyDodson. Huge malts - big sweetness and sweet-and-tart fruit, some dank hops balance this out. The strong bitterness is only able to reduce the sweetness, but cancel it completely. You cannot smell o taste the alcohol, but you can feel it making your palate numb. An excellent, and sophisticated big beer.

Poured from bottle, dark cloudy amber with low orange head. Aroma with notes of dried fruit, caramel, resin and honey. Taste is bitter sweet and grows a little in sweetness, good malt body and oily after taste.
