4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy deep brimstoney copper with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, big mango, piney hops, spice, florals, fruit, berries. Tastes very fruity, with big pineapple, tangerine, mango, and spicy notes, a huge malt bill, very well hidden alcohol, and a dense complex palate. This one is delicious.

50cl bottle. Poured hazy dark orange color with a thick head, nice lacing. Aroma is very malty with raisin and tropical fruits and pine hops. Flavor is wonderful, very malty and hoppy, pine, tropical fruits, apricot and grapefruit. Finish is bitter, warming and fruity. Maybe bit too sweet, but overall very enjoyable.

Bottle, batch 589. Reddish brown, hazy, short to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate to full malty and sweet aroma, tropical fruits, grapefruit and piney hoppyness. Body is medium to full, sweet malty flavor, tropical fruits, grapefruit and piney hoppyness, some alcohol. Finish is average to long, malty and sweet, tropical fruitiness, some alcohol. Sweet and very fruity DIPA, some alcohol in the falvor/finish – anyway, too sweet for me.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle 50 cl. Poured cloudy dark copper in colour with a creamy thick tan
head. Hoppy, exotic fruits, sweet fruits and spices in aroma. Served in a
tulip glass. Impressive and very diverse first impression. Overwhelming
aroma of grassy and floral hops strikes before the first sip. Pine and
grassy hops flavour at first. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Sweet
tropical fruits mixed with malty notes, more fruity flavour in form of
dark fruits such as plums or raisins too. So much going on here, but
combined in a very good way. Very well balanced, sophisticated and
delicious brew. Rich mouthfeel and great, long-lasting aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle at Cp&K Pimlico. Drunk to try and mend a broken heart. But got a broken wallet instead a. Ach well hope its worth it. Mind you where am I going to get this beer? Hazy deep copper colour. Lasting thin off white head. Intense toasty resiny hop aroma. I mean yes its big and intense. Some sweetness. Some toast. Lasting faint passionfruit. Intense lychee aroma. I mean its huge. A real rollercoasyer of a beer. When you spend this much you expect something exceptional which this is. A little sceptical to start with but this beer just keeps giving. Still. Not the best impy IPA. Too toasty on aroma not leafy enough for me. Yes its big but does that huge hit make it better? Not sure. As for getting over the girl? Nope this hasnt done it yet. Too sweet.. Not enough fresh leafy hop

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thin offehite head, but remains as a lid on the body throughout. The body has an unclear amber colour. The taste is fruty, especially of peach, but I also detect raisin and orange peel. Some perfume. It has thus a nice hoppy flavour which is very appealing indeed, especially in the finish. Huge lacings on the glass. A very good IPA from Nøgne Ø!

Bottle. Deep red clear with a thin white head that leaves nice lacings on the glass. Smells of orange peel, grapefruits, and other sweet fruits, some grass too. Taste has good sweetness and much citrus, grapefruit and grass. Feel is oily with some pricky carbonation. Nice! Finish is complex bitter with some very interesting hop combinations. A very good IIPA
