3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. A powerful blend of malty and hoppy notes, ranging from pumpernikel bread, raisins and candy to lychee, citrus, flowers and peach. Fruity and spicy, also a bit boozy. Lots of flavour depth, also lots of sweetness but the senses are distracted from concentrating too much of the latter by means of the depth, the alcohol and the bitterness. That being told, because of the massive, chewy malty body the 100 IBUs are far from being overpowering. Very tasty evening sipper, not the best one from Nogne by far but definitely enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
"not really what I look for in a double ipa (too sweet, too malty, too thick) but just judging it as a beer...pretty dang good. interesting interplay with the earthy sweet malt and the pine & spice character of the hops. strong aroma and flavor. nice brew, likely overpriced, though, in the bottle."

Tap@Konttori. Amber color and silky head. Pine, hops, fruits, caramel in aroma. Taste is a bit sweet but ends with long lasting nice hoppy and bitter aftertaste. Alcohol, spices and caramel also in flavors. Some barley wine elements.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy/clear deep golden colour with a nice off white head. Good lacing. Rich grape and ruch fruity aroma. Very sweet and rich hoppy. A bit to sweet for my likings. Had some batches that the alcohol came thorugh too much also. This one was nice. But forgot to write down the batch number.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
50cl bottle. This is the king of double IPA! Pours as clear as virgin IPA but is thick, heavy and hoppy as hell. Aroma of various hoppy subflavors and yeast. You have to share the bottle, otherwise you are done for the evening, or even a month. Pours a perfect IPA. No need to explain here. Full bodied double ipa - thick, fat and creamy at the same time. This is a blast. Get it as soon as you can!

3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma: pine, citric, roasted nuts, weak; Appearance: pale gold, minimal head; Taste: medium bitterness, slight sweetness, medium sourness; Palate: average carbonation, long hoppy finish, oily texture, medium body
Weak aroma, too much alcohol sensed, stronger body could have helped this beer (excessive filtration?)

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
50cl bottle. Strong aroma of hops. Quite a malty body, with some grainy caramel and a tiny bit of raisin. Taste is hoppy, very bitter, with a dry aftertaste and some warming alcohol. Like a strong imperial ipa, with a touch of barley wine.
