COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Aroma of wet grass, bitterness from the hops, citrus like you get with lemon peel and some light spices. Very nice aroma that was quite stinky but in a good way, high alcohol level, powerful aroma. This pilsner is not you average and is super full-bodied, slightly sweet, pine resin sweetness comes to mind.

Aroma is prominently hoppy. Flavors of sweet breadcrust with a sharp bitterness coming through. Some apple-like flavors and aromas as well. a very average brew from nøgne ø.

Grassy, strawy, hoppy aroma, herbal spicy hints of tarragon, a touch of glue, apricot liquor and grappa. Taste is slightly sweet pale malty, spicy, herbal and bitter hoppy overtones, hints of distilled fruit flavours, apple, pear, grappa, calvados.

From a 500ml bottle on 2/7/2015. Pours a clearish golden with a biggish bright white head. Hasa strong aroma of bread, dough and honey with distict floral notes. The flavour begins very sweet with citrus and stone fruit (orange and peach), honey, christmas cake and bread, followed by a spicy and relatively firm hop bitterness. The texture is syrupy and the carbonation average. This is really nice stuff and full of character. I’m quite puzzled by the modest overall rating for this. It’s a cracker.

Stark karbonisierter, hell alkoholischer Hopfenantrunk. Hell herb alkoholisch bleibend, der Hopfen geht in den Hintergrund. Minimal bitter, steigende Süße. Unrund. 12/10/7/6/9/7

Tight resistant tarty off white head. Near clear apri-golden body. Carpets, blankets and holes as lacing. Aroma of some hops, caramel, straw, dried dusty apricots, plum peel, roasted candies, lemon peel. Taste; strong malts, hops, caramel, lemon peel, fizzy apricot, bittersyrup, malt liquor (meh), fermented almonds, weed, fish oil, infected bark, dirty rubber, sick wood, meh. Finishes in attempts to the sweet side, but too much fizzy lemon and malt liquor impression. Sticky body, too much carbonation for that abv. Heavy to drink. Reminds me too much about some sick strong beers in Sweden. [33cl@Tap16@Ølhallen Tromsø]
