COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draft at Khyber Pass. Hazy orange amber pour. Fizzy/foamy white head. Has a strong honey sweetness and a big hop bite. Orange marmalade with chillies peppers. Lots of juicy citrus and amber fruit. Slight hint of smoke. The strong alcohol taste plus the overbittered hops makes this a challenging beer to drink.

500ml bottle shared by Rune 18.06.14@Rating Session. Cheers! Orange body, murky with black particles. Hint of lacing. Smells like sweaty wardrobe, burnt rubber and alcohol. Pumpkin, soap, clove and honey, and then you notice the alcohol again....Disappointing to be honest!

500ml bottle, batch 992, bought at Vinmonopolet Vika Oslo. Shared at a rating session back home. Cloudy apricot coloured body with sediments. Filmy layer. Hoppy smell of sweat and fruit. Citrus flavours with noticeable alcohol. Citrus shells to finish and again with a little too much alcohol. Medium bodied. Drinkable but disappointing (at Finns, Tromsø 18.06.2014).

Flaske 0,5l spandert av Rune. Delt i godt selskap på Nerstranda 18 Jun 14. Gyldenbrun. Uklar med små partikler. Lavt skum. Svakt syrlig fruktaroma med innslag av mandler. Smaken forsterker mandelpreget. Alkoholen skinner gjennom hele veien.

Very hazy amber - gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is soft and slightly viscous with good fine carbonation. Light airy creamy malt. Hops are lemon streaked pine. Light touch of sherbet. The pine turns a little minty. Rich smooth malt underneath. Hop spice. Lemon balm linger. Nice beer but I like my Pils crisper. If they could get this crisp it would be stunning.

Bottle. Vibrant golden yellowy beer with a strong white head . The aroma is gently hopped, and the flavour is very deeply hopped with very strong bitter finish. Overall a nice very strongly hopped beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear gold, thin, short-lived white head. Aromas are lime-lemon and sweet bread. Taste is also sweet. Not really a fan of this. jeevan’s opinion - like a posh Special Brew!
