Tap at Mikkeller Bar. Hazy golden beer with a frothy, but quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is floral and citrussy hoppy, with hints of caramel. Medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with notes of grapefruit, peach, orange. As usual when it comes to Nøgne Ø a niece piece of beer.

Creamy dark copper pour and a thick white lid and flecks of yeast. Bursting with aromas of hops, citrus fruit, spice. Oh wow! Really hoppy but the bitterness is balanced with a caramel and fruity sweetness. Spicy warmth and malty, medium carbonation. Lots going on in the mouth. Top class! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange brown pour, with a nice creamy beige head. The aroma is dominated by fruity hops and caramel. Full bodied, soft carbonation, aggressively malted, with a dry, fruity, and slightly woody hop finish.

Darker amber than the pa. Grapefruit and slight meaty-yeasty nose. Sticky sweet with a citrus bitterness and sweet malt finish. Another that would drink better fresh i think.

Bottle at home. Hazy amber colour with a big frothy, almost creamy, head that lasts. Fruity hops in the aroma along with some bready notes. More fruity hops in the mouth, grapefruit. Medium to heavy lasting bitterness. Slick mouthfeel. Overall a very tasteful beer with a nice balance. A pleasant hop lash.

Hazy dull amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, floral/pine hops, some fruit, & citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt/ biscuit, pine hops, caramel, and citrus (notably grapefruit); Finish is bitter; Nicely balanced; Overall, interesting IPA - pretty decent.

Bottle (500ml, Blackfriars, Glasgow):
Pine like in smell with tonnes of hops that dominate the nose. There is a hint of citrus & tropical fruits notes blended into the mix.
Cloudy amber that touches on brown in colour with a thumb sized, bubbly white head that shrinks to a thin lacing.
Lots of pine & hops to this one straight away and the tropical fruits from the nose are here as well. Quite a fruity taste. There is some citrus and a solid, bitter finish.
Medium body & quite bitter with going overboard with it. There is average carbonation and a fruity pine finish that lingers for a few moments.

A very nice IPA that I enjoyed a lot and will probably try again the next time I come across it. It went down very easily despite the 7.5% abv. & the tropical fruits in the taste and smell were a nice touch.
