Medium to light orange, a bit hazy, huge head. Aroma is citric, some hop bitterness, and a bit of caramel. Flavor is biscuity malt with bitter citrus hops, primarily grapefruit. Some pine as well. A bit of yeast note on the finish. Not bad, but not quite my favorite take on the style.

mmmmm a difficult one. Pours a lovely murky amber mandarin with thick foamy head. Nose id pure citrus. In the mouth it’s full bodied with lots of grapefruit rind. The malt body is quite in balance. It’s a little one dimensional though. Lots of bitterness, but no breadth in the hop profile beyond citric, high AA hops. Good to very good but not great.

(bottle - 500 ml) Hazy amber pour with a thick off-white head and very nice lacing. Aroma has a lot of juicy citrus hops and sweet malts. Light floral notes and a good sign of the impending bitterness. Surprisingly light hop taste at the front. More citrus and sweetness. Some flowery and peppery bitterness comes through near the middle with a lightly bitter and lingering aftertaste. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle - Plucked by my friend from the bargain bin of Steve’s Liquor, so might have been sitting around for awhile. Pours hazy, murky apple juice with a huge, creamy head--and FLOATIES! Smells big and malty, with a touch of piney hops, nutmeg, and honey. Not what I was expecting, but pleasant. Tastes sweet and malty, with some nice hops and spice on the finish--almost a little nutty. A little too carbonated, but overall a very nice beer. Would like to revisit this one fresh.

I really do love everything I’ve sampled from this brewery so far. Served cold from tap. Hazy amber color, light cream-colored head, great lacing. Aroma of pine hops and a hint of citrus. Crisp flavor, citrus and hops. Incredibly smooth. All in all, just a fantastic beer.

Un bel colore arancio con chiuma biancastra, al naso lievi note di malto e luppolo erbaceo e resinose un po più lievi delle bottiglie assaggiate, Al palato, Secca con un amaro molto molto intenso e abbastanza persistente...

18th July 2008. Soft amber coloured IPA. Plenty of hops that impart a little more bitterness than fruit. However the bitterness is not overwhelming. Mild malt. Decent.
