Bottle. Hazy orange, cooper with medium, semi-densed white head. Medium lasting. Good lacin. Nice aroma of tropical fruits (mango), citrus, some resin aromas. You can also nice some sweet malty profile. Taste is medium bitter (grapefruit like), from the middle balanced with sweet malts. Finish is bitter, dry and quite long. Medium body, silky, medium carbonation. In overall good and drinkable IPA. You won’t find here any extraordinary, but solid and balanced beer.

Lagerboy (1446) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 4, 2015
500 ml bottle. Opaque chunky orange, off-white foam mostly lasts. Aroma of fruity citrus hop and c-malt. Bitter grapefruity hop taste, denser sweet caramel malt, some spice and evergreen, a bit floral. Average carbonation, medium-full bodied, more aggressively hopped. Ould skool. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2015 50cl bottle from Oslo Airport@home. Cloudy amber with sufficient head and carbonation to convince you that these guys know what they are doing. Good aroma clearly displaying the American hops used to give this IPA...or should I say DIPA - a more modern expression. Taste of hops, grapefruit and bitternes. Too much bitterness for my taste as it ruins the balance and leaves a very bitter aftertaste...almost medicinal. I prefer the Two Captains from Nøgne Ø - though initinally aggressive, it is better balanced.

Poured from bottle, cloudy amber with medium creamy head. Aroma with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and some pine. Taste is bitter, backed up with a medium malt body laced with some sweetness. Lingering slightly bitter after taste.

CacheManyHose (311) - HONG KONG - FEB 7, 2015
Cloudy orange-copper with white fizzy watery head and spotty legs. Smells quite yeasty, grassy hop, spiced malt, pepper, pear, apricot. Nice aroma that's heavy but stops just short of being cloying. Tastes bitter, resinous, some spice/pepper. Body is medium, lightly spicy, very smooth, finishes on a bitter and frothier note.

HKdIPA (366) - HONG KONG - FEB 7, 2015
Bottle from Hop Leaf at home. Hazy orange copper pour, minimal head. Aroma is a bit plasticky hops. Some resin. Taste is very piney bitter hoppiness, but also more malty than expected. More like the Mikkeller/European-style IPA, but hops are pine/resin more than floral/fruity. Slightly rich, smooth palate. Lasting bitterness and some booziness. A big IPA, almost DIPA. Quite good IPA. Would get again.

weordie (211) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2015
Pours copper with a huge foamy head. Aroma is rich of citrus fruits, especially mango. Taste starts off sweet, becomes bitter then really dry with an aftertaste of rubbing alcohol. If not for the finish this would be great, as a result though it’s not very nice. Shame

Strong citrus aroma. Grapefruit on the palate, pleasant bitterness, light sweet fruit, excellent easy fruity aftertaste with minimal bitterness.
