3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20Brown bottle, 0,5 l, batch 229, purchased on February 5 2007, savoured on February 25 2007; eye: tan head made up of bubbles of various sizes, burnt orange with caramel reflections, hazy, no effervescence, presence of lacing; nose: quite hoppy, a little caramel, unknown but unpleasant odeour that appears as the beer warms up; mouth: hops, hops, hops, grapefruit, discreet malt but that provides a nice support to the hops, a thin carpet of caramel underneath all of that hops, hint of plpper that reveals the discreete presence of the alcohol, really long and dry finale in hops with a nice presence of grapefruit, grainy and somewhat creamy texture, quite bitter, full body, not much carbonated, light astringence; overall: quite enjoyable

Bouteille brune, 0,5 l, batch 229,a cheté le 5 février 2007, savourée le 25 février 2007; oeil : mousse fauve faite de bulles de tailles diverses, orange brulée avec des reflets caramel, voilée, pas d’effervescence, pas mal de dentelle; nez : pas mal houblonnée, filet de malt caramélisé, odeur inconnue et désagréable qui apparaît alors que la bière se réchauffe; bouche : houblon, houblon, houblon, pamplemousse, malt reste discret mais donne un bel appui au houblon, petit tapis de caramel sous tout ce houblon, petite pointe de poivre qui révèle la présence discrète de l’alcool, très longue finale sèche en houblon avec une belle présence de pamplemousse, texture granuleuse et crémeuse, assez amère, corsée, peu carbonatée, légère astringence; en résumé : bien aimée

Bottle - 500ml. Cloudy amber body with a thin white creamy head. nice hoppy aroma with malty and citrusy hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Its sharp hoppy taste carries woody, citrusy, and yeasty notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Very good example of IPA.

Very cloudy, dark apricot color. White head holds til the beer is gone. Yeasty, doughy, piny aroma. Flavor is hop resin, piny, bitter. Very good and true to a classic IPA in flavor and palate despite being higher in abv at 7.5%. It has a mellow body, kinda flat and finishes with a slight dryness but all the aforementioned aromas, flavors, and characteristics make up for this.

Ljust bärnstensfärgad. Aroman var aningen söt, fruktig. Kraftig och isittande aroma. En rätt bra IPA !

Poured a lightly hazed amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma had nice hoppy notes. Citrus, floral and earthy with a hint of pine to boot. The flavour started malty and then some floral hop flavours mixed in. Very nice balance of bitterness and flavour.

April 2010. From bottle. This is one outstanding IPA with good balance and complexity. Pine, citrus, resin, hops, it’s all there. Fantastic!

0.5l bottle. Orange body, white head. Lots of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Aroma of citrusy hops and honey. Taste of citrusy and grassy hops with honey. Can’t feel the alcohol. Pretty nice beer.

Pours hazy dark orange with thick white head. Aroma contains some citrus, exotic fruits and caramel. Flavor is pretty hoppy with citrus and flowers. A slightly bitter finish. All in all a very good IPA.

500ml bottle provided by Rune for our Summertime Beer Session 5.Jul.2011. The aroma of fresh orange, pineapple and sweeter fruit drifts towards me when the bottle is opened. Pours an amber body with a large frothy head, that leaves beautiful lacing on the glass. I inhale the pleasant aroma a few times, then I take the first sip: What a slap in the face! I sense some orange, spices and yeast, then the taste of astringent and sour/acidic vinegar overpowers everything. For several reasons I wanted to shed some tears- something must have gone terrible wrong with Batch 620!

Pour is hazy tangerine, thin white head. Nose is caramel, grass, resin and pine. Lovely smooth malty body, soft carbonation. Flavours are lush fruity, grapefruit and caramel with a nice rising bitterness towards the finish. Excellent.
