3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cunningham (2972) - Halden, NORWAY - FEB 5, 2013
Appearance: Black color with a beige head. Some lacing. Aroma: Chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Palate: It has a medium light body that feels thick and oily body. Strange. Slightly sweet and a low bitterness. Creamy carbonation. Dry texture. Taste: Rich chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. Also a fine vanilla touch. Overall impression: I really wish this was more available. Thanks a lot Yngvar for this gem. Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Yngwie.

Bottle. Black body with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and ash. Taste is pretty thin, as expeccted from a 0,4% beer, still there are roast and hops here, and a watery but bitter finish.

500ml bottle @ Nøgne Ø. As Stuten. Pours black with a nice little light brown head. Somewhat sweet and bitter, with the familiar aromas from roasted barley and malts. Light in body. Like most alcohol free beers there is something missing, but it’s one of the better alc. free ones i’ve tried.

0.5 l bottle as Stuten, kindly provided by yngwie. Thanks my friend! Pours an entirley black body, topped by a firm dark choco-colored foamy head. Nice smell of dry chalky cocoa/chokolate and faint burnt and ashy/smokey dark malts. Unsurprisingly light in body, but has a fine dark roasted malt-character. Malt-bitterness and a discreet hop bitterness in the backbone.
Some depth is missing in the flavor. But smells very nice, and by far the best n/a Iv’e ever had.
2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 9, 2011
500ml bottle, as Stuten, No.0748, kindly shared by KnutAlbert at Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri. Tan-coloured head – frothy, airy and bubbly. Spotty lacework. Completely black body. The best part is a prominent aroma of ashy dry malts, roasted and sweet, including a vanilla touch. Malt-accented flavour with distant bitterness to a thin and watered texture. However, a very nice NA brew (Oslo, 27.09.2011).
