Bottle 500ml batch#455 at home.
Pours clear dark amber with a lasting tan head. Roasted malts dominate the aroma together with spices. Taste of malt, liquorice and spices. Watery beer

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a dark mahogony with a small beige head. Lots of chocolate notes is about all I get on the nose. Much the same in the taste. Just a solid porter without being anything special

Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and some spices. The flavor is sweet with notes malt and nuts, leading to a very dry finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

De barril / chopp. A hazy deep dark amber-red coloured brew with a nice big beige looking head, Ok lacing. Soft aroma of well roasted caramel and malt with dark spices. Bit thin mouthfeel. Flavour of roasted caramel and malt with liquorice and spices along with a pleasant dry bitterness. It’s rather watery but a pleasant brew.

clear brown, smooth light brown head. hops, grass, licorice in the aroma. Also a little herbal, a little roasted stuff. flavor is very dark caramel, hops, dryness, roasted stuff.

Shared bottle at the Cardinal juleølsymposium. Hazy orange with a creamy off-white head that turns into a film. Roasted and grassy on the nose. Roasted, sweet, bitter and acidic flavors. Smooth in the mouth. Light to medium body. Dry finish.

Nose of sweet malt, weak hazel, and alcohol. Feel is medium, carb is heavy, taste is dry hops, grape, cane sugar and late licorice

Bottle (Batch #543). Pours hazy dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, caramel, nuts and spices. Taste is light sweetness and lightly bitter.

Julesnadder - hauska nimi oluelle. Julesnadder on ruskean punainen olut. Vaahto on valkoista, joskin hieman beigeen vivahtavaa ja paksua. Julesnadder tuoksuu mausteille ja hedelmille. Mausteinen ja hieman hedelmäinen maku, jossa humalointi tuntuu myös. Hieman katkera ja keskiverron hiilihapokas. Hintava olut maitokauppavahvuiseksi maustepommiksi tämä Julesnadder.

0.5 l bottle. Slightly hazy dark reddish brown. Sweet perfumed aroma with nuts, dark caramel, yeast, anise and berries. Taste of dark caramel, nuts, roasty chocolate, berries, yeast, licorice and anise. Initially sweet taste with dry yeasty finish. Too yeasty for me.
