Difficult to find something in aroma, maybe some spices.
Malty and nutty in mouth, with some smoke. A good "low alcohol" christmas beer.

50cl bottle from Meny Løren. Pours slightly hazy dark brown with beige head. Lightly spicy and malty aroma with some roasted notes, caramel, anise and hints of smoke. Medium body. Sweet, a bit caramelly and roasty with a fairly dry and lightly bitter finish. Decent Christmas beer at this alcohol strength.

Bottle (50 cl), courtesy of ingo. Cloudy orange brown, large beige head. Sugary and caramelly with some roasted aromas, spices and glue. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi sweet, low bitterness.

Pours clear dark copper with low head. Aroma is smoke, malts, ham. Flavor is smoked ham, roasted malts.

Shared bottle at Christmas beer tasting 15.12.12.
Red-copper color, little to no head, sweet, malty slightly sour aroma.
Slightly unpleasent bitterness with hints of detergent, malts dominate the taste but it finishes way to thin for a beer of this style.

Nice one, with touches of christmas, and tropical fruits and dark roasted malts and nuts. Bitterness is great.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown. Clear. Small off-white head. Nutty aroma with spicy toffee notes. Black pepper, cinnamon and a little caradamom. Waffles. Dry powdery texture. Light bodied, but there’s enough things happening here for the beer to be interesting. There’s something Belgian here, but not overly typical.
