Pours a clear dirty brown with a decent white head that dissipates fast. Very malty bread/yeasty dough aroma. Spicy, slightly bitter taste.

Botella de 50 cl. 07-12-13 lupulo feroz. Según etiqueta elaborada en 2013. Aromas algo tostados y especiados. Color negro intenso con espuma persistente. Cuerpo medio. Sabor algo especiado y caramelo dulce con toques finales quemados y tostados. Mucho mucho carbonico. Para repetir sí eso las próximas navidades, sí eso.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2013 500ml bottle @Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. Pours cloudy amber, with frothy off white head, some gushing. Good head retention, some lacing. Caramel, spicy aromas. Medium body, high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is caramel, liquorice, fruity, some spicy. Extremely overcarbonated, harsh due to this. Unbalanced.

Pours a clear brownish amber with a creamy, beige head. Aroma is lightly toasted and very malty., with hints of bread-dough. Taste is malt driven with a light bitterness to balance out the heavy malt character of this beer. Pretty good for a 4,7%.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2013 Denne er ganske lys i fargen, og lukter krydder av ymse slag. Smaker også det samme, men blir for tynn. Dog ganske frisk. Bør drikkes til mat, da den står seg for dårlig alene.

Bottle. Small white head, dark brown/caramel colour. The aroma is heavily dominated by tobacco, which is taken a little far with a very clear resemblance to my former language teacher’s breath of cigarettes and coffee - a very sour and sort of bitter smell. Same in the taste, and some smokey notes as well as possibly black cardamon. Not so much sweetness, a little dry. Judging by the the name of this beer I would consider changing either the name or the recipe completely. It’s quite interesting to taste the tobacco to such a level, and not really that bad, but it’s absolutely not what I associate with "snadder" (goodies). In conclusion, after trying out a few Xmas beers below 4,7 percent this year, you’re better off going for the stronger stuff.

Bottled. Dark amber, hazy beer. Thick, creamy head. Spicy-sweet, somewhat earthy and gun powder- like aroma. Somehow reminds me of Swedish snuff: it truly has some of that fermented earthiness, tobacco and spices(cinnamon, cloves?) Dark, roasted malts, dark fruits, a bit of spices. Dry, slightly sour roastedness, a bit of yeast and balanced spiciness in the finish. Slightly thin, of course, but way better I thought. Well balanced ale, would do well with a variety of food.

Bottle at home. The beer is slightly hazy brown color, with a light beige foam head of medium size. Its aroma is malty with a touch of nuts, wood and some dried fruit, berries and roasted malt. The taste is also characterized by much malt, and more of the same from the aroma. In addition I find Belgian yeast. Mouth feel is smooth, and the beer has a light bitterness. A good beer with a great balanced flavor and is rich, but feels more like a solid brown ale, and not so much Christmas.
