Fruktøl skal være surt. Ordentlig surt.

Red with a dark pink head - Good berry aroma with hints of sourness - Good berry taste with some sour cherries with some malts as well - The berries continues in a long goos sour finish - This was real good

Bottle at home from dicey O’Reilly’s
Dark ruby purple with crimson tinged white head with cherry yoghurt aroma. Medium body with sharp acidic notes followed by fruity cherry and citric acid finish. Rich fruit notes and plenty of sourness. Pretty tasty but not as complex as cantillon or boon.

Opaque dark red - purple beer. Good head, a vibrant rose pink colour! Palate is crisp and pretty dry. Dry tart cherry, dark cherry. Light floral tang. Touches of blackberry and blackcurrant. It’s not acidic but definitely quite sour.

Bright purple body and even brighter pink head. Oh my! Lactic aroma, cherry, yoghurt, but dry fruity and cake like malts. Solid sourness yet the dominant bacteria actually work very nicely in the taste, since there is a solid full mouth feel of biscuit malt and sugars. Sharp yet small carbonation. Surprising and interesting. Hardly beer, but I do very much like it, to my own surprise. Hard to give a rating, but the taste is especially pleasant and it has shocking looks, so a solid rating will follow despite it not being something I?d drink every day. (50cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell during the Gunnar Tasting. Thanks to our guest of honour! Pours deep purple-red with a red-pink froth head. The nose is all dried cherries, poop. Sturdy tart berry flavor with slight funk, faint acidity, a bit of grassy bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation and creamy texture. Moderately clean to finish with jerky acidity, tart cherries. Good.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Langnes. Drukket i Skibotn 27 Des 13.

Enjoyed from bottle. Intense cherry red with a slight haze. Pink-shaded, lacing blond top. Big juicy and candied cherry aroma. Notes of cherry stones and wet wood. Dryish-tart, sappy mouthfeel. Taste is armloads of sour/tart cherries. Also some creamed caramel, and hint of dough. Full fruity-tart finish.

500 ml bottle, batch #1027. ABV is 7%. 25 IBU. Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Intense and beautiful deep red colour, moderate pink head. Aroma of cherries, marzipan, wood and dust. Strong flavour of sour and tart cherries galore, not much sweetness here. Lovely stuff.
