COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fruktøl skal være surt. Ordentlig surt.

Deep red colour. Aroma and flavour are intense with cherry pits and spice. Too sour.

Różowa i gruba piana, pozostaje w postaci chmurek i nieznacznie oblepia szkło. Barwa czerwona, klarowna, spory osad na dnie butelki. Aromat intensywnie wiśniowy, kompotowy, winny, w tle taninowe nuty starego drewna, pestek. W smaku kwaskowe, wiśniowe, również skojarzenia z czerwonym wytrawnym winem i niesłodzonym kompotem, w posmakach skojarzenia z wodą mineralną i solą morską. Goryczka nieduża, pestkowa, alkohol nieźle ukryty, wysycenie niskie do średniego. Orzeźwiające, nieco cierpkie i szczypiące w odczuciu, ale ogólnie delikatne i przyjemne.
Przyjemne, pijalne i smaczne piwo w stylu delikatnego krieka. Raczej na ciepłe dni, choć alkohol jednak spory, nie sesyjny...

Sour superb - black cherries and other black berries fruits are centre stage - such easy drinking and such pleasure - could drink that every day of the week.

Pours very dark red with a bright pink head. Nose shows cherry, soft vanilla and marzipan. Flavours include cherry, a fair bit of acidity and soft sultanas.

Bottle (500 ml), shared. Clear deep ruby with a small white head, low retention, leaving no lacing. Aroma is cherry forward - in a cough syrup fashion - with spices (mostly cinnamon) and cheesy/yogurt notes. Taste is moderately sour and lactic with mild to moderate sweetness, sweet cherries, cinnamon and mild herbalness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Sirupy mouthfeel. Sweet cherries finish. It feels a bit medicinal but otherwise it’s not a bad cheesy and syrup sour fruit beer.

Bottle at home (batch 1513/1519B, bottled 08.10.15). Pours light hazy dark red with a small pink head. Aroma of light tart cherries, red fruit, malts, caramel, light wood notes. Taste is sour, light bitter sweet, cherries, red fruits, malts, light wood. Tart aftertaste, bit thin, tartness remains, but fruitiness is mostly gone. Not bad though.

Bottle, 50 cl, bought in Haugesund. Pours a dark red, pinkish brew. A little head and not much carbonation. Taste is fruity-berry, sour, full - long-lasting. A highly drinkable and successful Norwegian kriek!
