3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orange, slightly red color with a huge orangy head. Foam stays for a very long time. Smells of orange, melon, citrus and kimchi.
Citraic, grassy fresh hops, defined by orange and lime. Bitterness is recognizable from the beginning, becomes stronger as the malt vanishes. Long bitter finish, with a pleasant chewy mouthfeel. Hops go along with hints of ripe fruits and earthy malts, leaving enough room for the strong bitterness, which creates a decent complexity, while not being too hoppy. Long likeable aftertaste.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep amber color, white head. Citrus nose, tropical fruit, caramel malt. Mandarin orange taste, slightly tart citrus fruits. Moderate sweetness which is nicely balanced by the bitterness. Velvety mouthfeel.

500ml bottle. Cloudy amber color. Medium size, off-white head, stays. Sweet, hops, alcohol, mild pine and grassy notes in aroma. Sweet, grainy, grassy, hay, bit of yeast in taste. Mandarin and citrus in aftertaste. Nice dry bitter bite in aftertaste. I like it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours in hazy dark orange to bronze color with low head. Aroma has in fact slight mandarine notes to it, but more of other citrus fruits such as blood orange, grapefruit. Pineapple too. Test is bitter upfront, fruity citrus sweetness to balance this out, light notes of caramel. Body is full, light carbonation. I hoped for more mandarines.

(bottle) pours a murky deep amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of manure and barnyard, slightly perfumed, with some notes of hay and powdered sugar. flavour is mostly the same, heavy powdered sugar, barnyard and some kiwi in the light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Reddish copper body and lasting grey head. Hop forward, citrus, big imperial malt base, even for the abv, very orange and a yeast that supports but also plays a distinct role, not like a clean American one. Active and tasty carbonation to balance the string bitterness. Very long aftertaste, very tasty, yet quaffable too. Yum! (50cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at Smak 14. Pours hazy golden colour with a large offwhite head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of citrus, apples and some grassy notes. This Mandarina hop gives this IPA an interesting flavour. Its not that hoppy as you expect but it also has some malty tones. Notes of citrus, grass and caramel. Mouthfeel is smooth, medium carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Interesting beer, the Mandarina hop is defo different, lots of fruit, reminds me very much of a good English IPA (Jaipur for instance) but much much better!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A nice looking beer, a hazy, colour is orange, a head is big and beige. The nose is citrusfruity and fresh, sweet mandarins, blood grapefruits and some tropical fruits. Taste of citrusfruits, pine needles and mandarins. Medium bitterness that is smooth. Medium+ bodied, smooth carbonation, nice to drink. Mandarina is interesting hop that gives quite unique flavours. There are some similar nuancees than in Rogue Morimoto Imperial Pilsner.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. It smells wonderful, like mandarines hanging from a pine tree, poartly covered with sap. Some white grapes are lying on the grassy ground, amidst some herbs scattered here and there. Fullish and very soft mouthfeel, decidedly malty upfront with the citrusy hops kicking in afterwards. Sweetish with a toned down bitterness. Velvety and very well balanced. Not the sort of IPA that kicks your nose in and dissolves your throat in alpha acids. And because of that I like it even more. A great beer, no less.
