Palme (3237) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 17, 2011
Tap @ Håndverkerstuene, Oslo. This one pours a dark clouded copper-brown body with a big everlasting fluffy lacing off-white head. The aroma has some sour-ish tones, caramel, oak and perhaps even some smoke? Quite nice, but not as nice as the original. Average to soft carbonation medium-bodied with a nice slick and smooth mouthfeel. Lovely flavors. It has that nice fudgy-sweetness the original one has only with a light sour-ish twist and not as much clear chocolate -still, some. Strawberry and caramel-fruity and light drinkable in the finish. Not to different from the original, but it’s really nice stuff!
