A refreshing light and hoppy ale. Probably our best allrounder. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Ideal with barbequed or smoked meat dishes.

Ingredients: Maris Otter, wheat and caramel malt; Northern Brewer and Centenneal hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

Deeper camber colored, cloudy, medium to strong off white head, lasting. Aroma is sweet caramalt, tropical fruits, floral and citrus hops. Taste is medium- sweet caramel, biscuit, floral and fruity hops, some toffee-cakey notes, low to medium citrus bitterness. Medium bodied and carbonation. An older bottle so most of the hoppiness has disappeared and some aged woody, walnut and more caramel flavors have reared their heads. Definitely have to re-rate wiith a fresh bottle! (bottle, Bottle Park, Bratislava, SK)

Pale golden in colour with a large off-white head, aroma was very hoppy and citrusy with a very fresh floral hops aroma, would even go out to say a bit soapy. Quite a bitter taste in the beginning, followed by some biscuit malt with a slight sweetness from the malts. Medium to a full bitterness in my opinion with some grassy note.

Czeska Baszta, kran. Metnawe, cieplo-zolto-bursztynowe, z imponujaca i powoli opadajaca, brudzaca szklo piana. W smaku tez wyraznie w slodowa strone, dosc pelne w ustach, lekko slodkawe, lekko kwaskowate, z niewysoka goryczka. Bardzo dobre

Draught at Ibrew Wired. Nice fruity hoppiness, orange, peach, decent biscuit malt backbone, dry clean finish. Fairly straight-forward pale ale but highly sessionable with a quite pleasant finish.

Hazy orange with white head. citrus, pine, British yeast and floral aroma. Fruity, citrus, earth, noble hops, earth and green hop finish. Overall: Well made pale ale from Nøgne Ø. The British yeast contribute excellently with fruitiness. Subdued hop bitterness works well with english yeast and hop aromas.
