A refreshing light and hoppy ale. Probably our best allrounder. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Ideal with barbequed or smoked meat dishes.

Ingredients: Maris Otter, wheat and caramel malt; Northern Brewer and Centenneal hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

Bottle shared at the level 42, 24/05/2016. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. A hazed yellow golden coloured pour with a a small thin white head. Aroma is spicy tangerine, pale grains, some berry fruits, little jammy. Flavour is composed of pale bready grains, lemon, honey, tangerine. Palate is semi sweet, light grains, highish carbonation. Decent apa.

33cl bottle shared at Leighton’s had tasting on Level 42, London. Many thanks to Fergus for this one. it pours a clean pale golden color with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and starchy. Taste is also sweet and a bit starchy with light grass and stone fruit. Light to medium bodied with OK carbonation. Overall, quite bad

Bottle thanks to Dan. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, nectarine, peach, candied peel, cereal, straw and hay. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange citrus, straw, grapefruit, zesty orange, cereal and peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Ok.

Bottle split at Level 42, thanks to DanYell, 24/05/16. Lightly hazed orange golden with a decent off white cap that dissipates in time. Nose is melon, tangerine, citric tinged straw, freshly cut grass, light bread. Taste comprises bitter orange, melon, straw, light bread, light mineral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with light hop bitterness. Ok APA.

Bionda chiara e piuttosto limpida, ampia schiuma frizzantina. Al naso molto invitante, aroma di frutta, agrumi. Molto fruttata al palato, malto, giusta luppolatura e buona carbonazione, chiude amarognola. Veramente ottima pale ale.

Slightly hazy golden ale in 500ml bottle. Reasonable white head leaving lacy deposit down glass. Orange and citrus notes with a noticeable hoppy overtone Somewhere between USA and English style. Nice.

Flaske 0,5L fra polet på Jekta Tromsø. Lys brun delvis klar med hvitt skum. Sitrus aroma. Saftig og god fylde. Humle, vel bitter til Pale Ale å være, men god er den.

Bottle at home. Hazy blonde colour with reasonable white head. British style ale, so hops, some fruit and light wheat malt in the aroma. Well balance flavour of wheat, maize, malt and fruit, underpinned by bitter hops. Dry finish with bitter hops.

0.5L bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a hazy golden colour, fine floating sediment, creamy white medium head. Hoppy herbal aroma with fruits, spices, malt. Taste is hoppy, lemon, citrus, malt. Bittersweet. Nice one!
