A refreshing light and hoppy ale. Probably our best allrounder. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Ideal with barbequed or smoked meat dishes.

Ingredients: Maris Otter, wheat and caramel malt; Northern Brewer and Centenneal hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

Has a cloudy dark brown color, some floaties in my ber. Smell is on the hoppy side. Taste is hops, some slightly medicianal flavor I can’t quite describe, a little different. Overall a decent beer.

Finale secco e piacebolmente amaro.

Brown 0.5L bottle 6%, normal off white head, diminishes on the slightly hazy light golden body, leaving some lacings inside the mug. Sweet grapefruit peel to the nose, notes of grassy hops. Tastes also sweet grapefruit peel, some fruity malts, juicy hops. Easy drinkable, more malt than bitter on palate, carbonation suits the beer well. Finishes fruity grainy with hops and malts in a somewhat lingering union. Not at all as bitter as many other pale ales. This is a soft american, and maybe women enjoy it too. #1063 tapped4/11-2013 BBF4nov15 b@vinmonopolet, tasted@home.

Cloudy, orange yellow color, with a decent white head. Citraic, grassy hops, defined by lime and orange - floral nose, refreshing. Citrus, lime and grapefruit. Refreshing, dry bitterness, supported by subtle hints of bready malts. High carbonation fits well to the straight and honest character of the beer. Dry bitterness is present from the beginning till the end. Hops are defined by citrus, working well with the present bitterness. Easy drinkable with a decent, gritty complexity, while being very refreshing.

Aroma: bread malts, hints of hay, some grassy hops. Appearance: hazy pale gold, massive frothy white head. Taste: medium to heavy bitter. Palate: massive carbonation - maybe there is something wrong with the sample I am having, but this is ridiculous, other than that, nice hoppy bitters. Overall: aroma is nice, but this beer is way to fizzy. Bottle from Beer Hawk, England.
