On draft at Henrik Øl og Vinstove, Bergen. Pours dark brown with light tan head. Aroma is chocolate, malt and light coffee. Flavour is mellow and matches aroma with a good bitterness. (Rated offline on 2011/04/13)

Bottle, 50cl. Pours a clear and dark brown beer with a large offwhite head. The aroma is malt, roasted and notes of licorice. The flavor is close to the nose with additional alcohol. The palate is dry with roasted notes and some alcoholwarmth. Overall a good beer.

Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and light chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate and light alcohol. Dry aftertaste.

Black colur with a mediumsized head. Aroma of coffee and oak undertones. Flavor is roasted with coffee and strongly bitter. Pretty boring porter overall. Watery finish.

Bottle; Pour is dark brown, with a modest khaki head in this snifter. Chocolate, caramel, licorice on the nose; this is a nice porter - the english notes are obvious, but you can sense the other elements in this brew as well. I always enjoy when the brewers put up their ingredients list. Chocolate, leather, caramel, mild bitter floral hop profile, and a general english feel, really. Nice.

Pours a completely black colour with a light brown head. Chocolate hints, dry fruits, plums and some caramel notes in the aroma. Light sweetness and medium bitterness in the taste. Round malty flavour, dark chocolate notes and some coffee too. Full body, creamy feel, soft carbonation and a long medium bitter and chocolatie-like finish. Another quality product from Nøgne Ø. Nice.

Herb-schokoladiger Antrunk, dessen Malz aber schnell nachlässt. Im Mittelteil eher getreidig, trocken, die Intensität ist gering, das Bier langweilig. Im Abgang zusätzlich ein wenig säuerlich. Naja... 12/8/7/7/10/7
