UPDATED: FEB 16, 2009 Bottled. Dark brown, almost black, with a medium sized tan head. Roasted aroma with coffee, chokolate and a littled fruitiness. Roasted coffee flavor with some chocolate. Quite dry, roasted finish, yet with some fruityness. Definately not to be rated at fridge-temperature. Rating: 7-4-7-4-14-3.6. (060103)

Bottle. It pours a next to black body, quite clear, with a tan head of moderate size. Chocolate, coffee and roasted malts in the aroma. Coffee being the most evident. There’s some hoppy aromas in the far back, giving a slight touch of citrus-peel. Full-bodied, mellow and nicely carbonated. Dry on the palate, yet with a sweetish, chocolatey flavor. Coffee, heavily roasted malts, citrusy notes and some alcohol too. In the far back there’s some licorice and dried fruits. The finish is shared masterly between hoppy bitterness and bitterness like that found in coffee. Medium duration, but the base flavor of the beer rests in the mouth for a long time. The alcohol is also blending in. Considering it’s 7% ABV, it slides down dangerously easy. Lovely with some chocolate. (090216)

Bottle. [thank you, faroeviking]
Pours black with slight brown edges. A big, dense, creamy, light-brown head. Great duration. Aroma is sweet, good chocolate, some roastiness. Softly carbonated with a general nice creaminess - but seems a little thin. Flavour has lots of sweet, fat chocolate with a good roasted coffe note in the aftertaste. Some bitterness as well. Good porter!

Black porter with a little, brown head. Malt and coffee aroma, but the flavour lacks a little bitterness and the beer was a little thin.
