At a tasting, thanks Zvikar, small stable beige head, opaque extremely dark brown colour, aromas of coffee, roasted malt and some barnyard notes, flavours of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt, a touch of barnyard and some hops coming later, quite dry. long roasted aftertaste with a little dryish sensation in the end. excellent porter.

bottle- pours black with a wondrful tan head, leaving behind really thick lacing definately worth noting. smells coffee, some smoked wood, brown sugar, a hint of alcohol and maybe some fruit. it is extremely smooth without being to watery. subtle carbonation. very fruity im thinking berries or sour grapes almost like a white wine sour flavor, chocolate, nice smokey finish. very, very good.

What a taste. Beautifully smooth malty aroma with a hint of smoke, coffee, biscuits, raisins, salty liquorice, dark chocolate... Aftertaste is long, turns on the slightly sweet side. Another great beer from Norge.

Thanks retorp for the share. Pours dark brown/ black with a nose of earthy coffee, dark fruit, vanilla, and some cherry?. Flavor is roasted malt, ripe dark fruit, coffee, bitter chicory, up through the finish. Very enjoyable porter that is medium-bodied and finishes clean and somewhat bitter. Great porter.

Poured a very dark brown, like your usual porter, with only a slight head. Smells like a fresh pot of coffee :-) loved it. Finish with a bit of a wood flavor. This is a really good porter.
