Tap, DGN. Rimelig mørk, anonym lukt. Litt småbrent smak, endel frukt. Hadde kanskje trodd den skulle være mer spesiell?

It’s not really a Christmas Tasting in Odense. Weak fruity and malty aroma. Dry malty flavour With fruity and nutty notes and a drying tannic finish

Bottle @ End of the year, Odense Tasting 2012. Thanks Yngvar. Pours cloudy amber with a white head. Pumpkin, yeast, spices and nuts. Good malty flavor with a fruity acidic and spicy touch. Medium bodied.

maneliquor (2782) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 16, 2012
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours amber with a small off white head which quickly disappears. Nose shows some bread and spiced caramel. Some floral hop tones in there too. The hop bitterness shines in this. Has a light herbal note throughout with some citrus and nutmeggy spices that work well together. Soft and bitter finish makes this a quaffer. Really tasty stuff

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff des-12:med lett bitterhet og stor fruktighet var dette en riktig god forfriskning sent på kvelden! Må absolutt prøves igjen. Sommerøl?!

Draft tap. One of the Nøgne Ø founders recommended this one to me. The head was rather flat, and instantly the aroma was absent. The palate was sharp and it was overall pretty bitter. After a while - a few minutes - the fantastic and sweet pumpkin aftertaste revealed itself and took over the show, and THAT was what made this beer so good.

From tap @Pingvinen, Bergen. Cloudy brown body. Low beige head. Spiced caramelly malt aroma, with a fresh sour tone to it. Smooth on the palate. Medium full. Quite so flavorfull. Good malt body. Herbal, caramelly and gently spiced. Pumpkin is noticable, and certainly not overdone. Light perfumey endnotes. A very likeable one. [07.09.12]

On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Pours a deep hazy brown olour with a medium beige head. Aromas of dark malt, dried fruits, pumpkin, roasted almonds and winegums. The flavour is more fruity with apricot, hops, dried fruit, cherries and some spices. The mouthfeel is light and slick, and has a light to medium bitterness. A definately fresh and tasteful beer.
