COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Ingredients: Wheat and lager malt; East Kent Goldings and Crystal hops; Belgian ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

14°P, 25 IBU, 6.5 ABV.

Nice fruity taste with well balanced bitterness. Some sediment in the bottom, but nothing that disturbs the beer. Nice carbo.

Tap @ Gastropub Nordic.
Pours a cloudy orange yellow colour with a thick, small head. Lacy. aroma of strong citrus with floral notes. Flavour of sweet malts, mild hops, citrus, spices and yeast. Medium bodied, thick and slick mouthfeel. Warming finish. Nice saison but lacks character a bit in my opinion.

22oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Aromas of clove, doughy bread, and citrus. The appearance is a beautiful cloudy dark yellow. Taste is very balanced, not like some saisons. I taste some mild funk, nice herbal, citrus notes, and the lovely Belgian yeast esters. This is a very good brew for mild meals, like oysters, as the bottle mentioned. Worked for me. Palate is medium body with good carbonation. The beer is great overall. Perfect on a hot day.

Solid end-of-summer stuff. Lowish gravity, and nice rustic malts of varying shades of roast. Wheat, grass, bark, and other toasty cereals. Fine noble hops and a great scent of yeast, even if the traditional spiciness of the yeast left something to be desired. Still, the rich palate of a good saison was present, and the finish long.

Bottle (I think this is at a minimum, a year old, but I cannot find a date). Pours with a murky golden body with a white, rocky, head. Aromas of grass, candied orange peel, rum cake, oxidation, marmalade, bread and a light sweetness. Not what I would expect from a saison, but, as I said, I expect this is old. Flavors of light oxidation, a decent bitterness, tons of sweet curacao/candied orange peel. Lightly grassy, bready, some straw and a lot of bitterness. Some candied ginger on the finish. Medium to lively bubbles. Delicate oxidation. Not as dry as I would have liked. Still very enjoyable.

Comes out as cloudy brwon yellow, with a light foam on the top. Good malt aromas, almost towards flour. Also a little hint of floral from the yeast. On the palate its very yummy, a dry finish and nice bitternes. Would love to try this with some asian cuisin!!

Bottle. Orange pour with medium head with small bubbles. Aroma is peppery, citrus, hints of vanilla, fruitiness as well. Great nose! Flavor is white pepper, clove, vanilla, and a bit of hop bitterness. Great brew!
