COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Ingredients: Wheat and lager malt; East Kent Goldings and Crystal hops; Belgian ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

14°P, 25 IBU, 6.5 ABV.

Bottle:   Cloudy straw, moderate frothy white head, clingy lacing.   Bright yeasty nose, pale breadiness, maybe a smidgen of citrus or floral aspects.   Wheaty on the tongue, pretty thick, but not as bright and floral as one would think.   Seems like a lightly spiced up Witbier crossed with an American Tripel.   Has more breadiness than bright floralness that I tind in Belgians.   Yeah, definitely more Americanized I think.   Clean on the exit, lingering breadiness, remains mildly sweet.   Think Witbier first, a pale one at that, then an American Tripel, followed by a Belgian Saison.   Moderate body, full mouthfeel.   Decent, but for the price I’d stick with the Belgian variety.   Glad to see some other styles coming out of my home country tho!

Bottle split with pat. Pours a hazy amber body. Aroma is farmhouse funk, fruit, and weed. Taste is okay, not as amazing I was hoping for.

Bottle. 22. oz. Split with James. Pours hazy orange with an off-white, thin head. Aroma of sour grapes, apple, lemon zest, honey, and hints of dank nugs, hops and strawberry. Medium bodied with a fruitful, crisp mouthfeel. Very good saison.

A little hazy golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of fruits like citrus with wheat. In the back hints of orange and it’s malty. The taste is dry bitter with fruits and wheat. The aftertaste is bitter and a little sweet.

04-DEC-2009, bottle, Ulkløbben @Michael. Light golden, hazy, nice white head. Slighty sour nose, citrus and yeast. Creamy, low carb., nice sweetness, low bitterness. Nice beer. Nit in the best company today among all the Z-mas brews.

The beer pours out a cloudy yellowish/orange body with a 2" white sudsy cap. Fruit juice, yeast, a bit of baked bread, with some nice light clove/nutmeg notes. Flavor has some light apple juice notes, a touch of lemon, doughy bread with some light sweetness. Probably better to drink this in the spring or summer, but it wasn’t bad.

Golden color with an active foamy white head. Aroma of slightly sour/tart yeasty wangy goodness, citrus fruit and a little spice, aroma is good, but a little light. Flavor begins a little sweet, but the fruit, tartness, and spice develop mid taste, finishes with a drying sensation a a little more spice. Again, as with the aroma, I just wish that there was a little more. Subtle is the story here, not a bad thing, but not terribly exciting, good, but not great.

Botle. Pours a cloudy deep orange with huge off white head. Aromas are really nice with heaps of earthy tones, yeast, some malt and also a little citrus and pine notes. Flavours are once again quite earthy with a little clove and spice. Plenty of malt and yeast tones. Finidh is quite dry with a fair amount of hop bitterness. Nice beer.
