COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Ingredients: Wheat and lager malt; East Kent Goldings and Crystal hops; Belgian ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

14°P, 25 IBU, 6.5 ABV.

Shared at DDG release party. Hazy gold/orange with thick white head. Hops, malt, yeast, spiciness, fruit, and more. Lots going on. Light and dry.

Pour is light straw with a greenish tint. Head is White and foamy and settles quickly. Smells of bubble gum and exotic fruit. Taste is initially bitter followed by a sweet light fruit juice like quality and again with the bitter which evaporates to practically just a hint. Feels light with the slight tingle of a champagne like carbonation, coats well.

16.9oz bottle. Wow, underrated. Pours a slightly hazed lighter golden with a nice wispy white thick froth, gorgeous 4.5. Aroma is airy, fruity, crisp hoppy, lightly sweet candied wheat, little bubble-gum, urinal cake, lots of Belgian yeast character. Flavor follows aroma, haven’t come across something like this in almost a year, quite hoppy, candied wheat, very herbal, dry bread and grass, fruity, lots of Belgian yeast, finishing very dry with lingering bitterness 8.5. Great mouthful, slightly chalky with fine tingly carbonation and very even feel, medium bodied leaving the mouth quite dry. Very impressive. It’s hard to believe this isn’t loaded with coriander... maybe they forgot to add it to the ingredient list? This really is delicious and a great a fantastically well brewed beer.

500mL: bottle: apperance is golden brown with small white head, aroma is slightly hoppy with hints of spices and malt, flavor comes in with lots of spices then fades to a bready after taste. This is my first saison and I can say I am impressed.

gusher. hazed dark yellow with a thick white head. yeasty lemon dough nose with an estery pepper. very enticing. a nice and tasty saisonl. a multitude of light notes in this make for a very heavy flavor . crisp wheat fklavor, the light yeast tang is just right. a hint of citrus. a repeat purchase is in the future. 4 6 8 5 17

Huge, towering and frothy off-white head over cloudy orange-ochre beer. Flowery nose, with some dough-aroma, and fine garden herbs; delicately spiced and yeasty. Spicy flavour, with a huge yeast imprint and mainly the same flavours as the above - maybe add some chamomille. Sharpish MF, slick, medium bodied. Quite convincing interpretation of the style. Still - if the Sahti is as reliable as the Saison seems, then I don’t like Sahti overmuch. Why search for styles so far from one’s own traditions, I ask?

Pours a cloudy light orange color with white head. Aroma is spicy with some fruit undertones. Flavor matches the aroma with a nice smooth finish. Pretty good beer.
