50cl bottle from Knightly Spirits (Orlando, FL). Pours a hazy golden caramel color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is wheat, bread, grain, yeast, and spice with faint notes of light citrus. Flavor is spicy and wheaty with some light hops notes as well. Generally light to medium body with a slightly bitter, hoppy finish.

Bottled at home. Hazy orange-brown coloured, lasting head. Very fruity nose, orange, yeasty and malty. Pleasantly bitter flavour, some spices. Very nice saison. Benefits enormously from adding the yeast shot.

Bottle from Sam’s Clybourn. This pours a yellowy gold, a bit hazy. Nose has minimal spice, more of a skunky Belgian character. bit of head, nothing special. On the taste, it is very light body and drinkable, though not really that tasty. A little spice comes from the yeast, but not much removed from a generic ’Belgium’ (sic) ale. Meh.

Bottle. Pours a quite dark yellow colour with a white head. The aroma is a bit spicy with notes of sourish citrus fruits, some perfumy yeast and a hint of caramel. The flavour begins with notes of bitter herbs which is followed by orange, spices, yeast and wheat. Quite smooth mouthfeel. The bitter herbs lingers in the mouth for quite a while.

Bottle. Straw yellow, hazy blond pour with a little white head. Aroma has light citrus, some pale belgian malt, a little bit of earthy spicing. Flavor is the same, pleasant at first, but the spices leave a somewhat odd aftertaste.

Pours cloudy yellow with a white head that dissapates to a small ring. Nice aroma of wheat, citris, grass, and lemon. The taste is the same with some pepper and a bit of sweetness. A little thicker then I like and more toward a wit, then farmhouse funk saison, but not bad.
