One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Ingredients: Wheat and lager malt; East Kent Goldings and Crystal hops; Belgian ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

14°P, 25 IBU, 6.5 ABV.

Strangely disatisfied with this one. I normally love Nogne Ø but is one didn’t dazzle me. Golden colour with some red highlights and a thin white head. Smells of yeast, flowers and honey. Tastes about he same.i did enjoy it but I didn’t love it.

500ml bottle. Blonde with a thin frothy white head. Slight haze. Flavors are cereals, wheat, bread, lemon rind, peach, orange, honey and alcohol with fruity notes. Medium body, soft carbonation, heavy and watery texture. This is the second time I’m having this, still disappointed. Weak stuff.

"i may have had a bad one, but i’ve only got one source, so for now, this is it. it was a volcanic brew...i had only half the bottle left b4 it was done. the smell also had a bit of skunk, but not enough to totally cover the coolness underneath. notes of yeast, earthy hops, and fruit. complex flavor too. i may revisit this in the future for hopes of a fresh one, but at $7.99...might be a while. this one was at least a little contaminated."

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy yellow. Tight, thin white head. Lovely, yeasty, lemon sorbet aroma. Some sweet, biscuit malt. Light bubblegum and banana, too. Taste is off dry, with a bittersweet edge. Palate is soft, yeasty bread, chewy. Finishes dry, with just the right amount of yeasty tartness. Very nice.

Pours orange marmalade with a slight hint of cherry sunburst in the bubbly. White wine on the nose. Not really the day for a saison, with this terrible grey toronto day, but I got my saison jones on. Taste is tart, a slight wine like flavour, with a white pepper spicing & slight hint of squeezed citrus. It may not clear the clouds & bring the summer back, but it will do.
