One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Ingredients: Wheat and lager malt; East Kent Goldings and Crystal hops; Belgian ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

Pours a hazy light orange color with a thin white head. Good aroma of fruits, hops, spices and a nice farmhouse terroir. The flavor is very satisfying with its hops, spices, fruits and farmhouse terroir, it finishes with bitterness. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. A very nice saison.

Bottle, bbe 26,04,09. Hazy nectarine hue with no visible sediment and a frothy, white head. Aroma immediately pops with bananas, peaches, creamed wheat, grapes, pineapples, pepper, lemongrass and damp earth and straw. The flavour is a bit grainy and begins moderately sweet, moderately acidic; finishes lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium bodied with a watery texture and moderate carbonation. The aroma and flavour feel a bit muddled with no clear theme and the mouthfeel is a bit soft.

Flaske. Ligner nypresset æblejuice, og har en vidunderlig duft af humle. Konen kaldte med det samme at smagen var henad belgien, hvilket måtilskrives gæren. En superdejlig øl, der hurtigt fik ben at gå på.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a frothing head. Lovely citrus and apple fruity aroma. The same fruityness is the flavour with a nice blend of sweetness followed by a dry bitterness into the finish. Nice.
