COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Ingredients: Wheat and lager malt; East Kent Goldings and Crystal hops; Belgian ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

14°P, 25 IBU, 6.5 ABV.

500 ml bottle. Hazy golden colour, thick white head. Aroma of wheaty malt, citrus and spices. The flavour id sweetish malty, with citrus fruit, coriander, an a nicely bitter hoppy finish. Enjoyable and refreshing.

To me this beer appeared to be more like an IPA than a Saison. That’s not a bad thing though.

Colour of golden yellow. White head. Herbal hops, citrus, fruits. Refreshing and a bit dry. Nøgne Ø just know how to make good beer.

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, average and mostly diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty –lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish aroma, some fruitiness, faint citrus and spiciness. Body is medium, malty – wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, some fruitiness and hoppyness, faint sharp alcohol and spiciness. Finish is average, malty – wheaty and dryish, some fruitiness together with sharp hoppyness and spiciness, some alcohol. OK saison, but too much wheat and sharp alcohol/spiciness for me.

Bottled, 50 cl. Pours cloudy saffron with a good irregular white head. Good duration. Aroma: Fruity, citrus, yeast. Hops, malt. Slight soapiness. Taste: Tasteable sweetness, bitter. Palate: Creamy but the carbonation makes it rough in a good way. Medium body. Overall: Enjoyable, easy to drink, pleasant. Simple. Very likable.

On tap at the Farmer’s Cabinet. Pours light blond with white head. Citrs, bread, floral, spices, light fruits. Mild bitterness and sweetness. I wasn’t too impressed as the flavors were really weak.

Bottle; Pour is murky gold with a modest off white head. Retention is above average ; spotty lacing in this Mild farmhouse nose, bready, floral hops. The flavor profile is a little muted - the contrast is that this brew is very refreshing. Mild citrus, lemon grass, bready malts, a touch of sweetness, mild funkiness. This is a nice, drinkable saison. Nothing remarkable, however
