One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Ingredients: Wheat and lager malt; East Kent Goldings and Crystal hops; Belgian ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

Bottle. Unclear medium orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus / grapefuit, moderate yeasty, fruit acidic. Flavor is moderate sweet, acidic and bitter with a average to long duration. (Fruit acidic). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (101107)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a frothing head. Lovely citrus and apple fruity aroma. The same fruityness is the flavour with a nice blend of sweetness followed by a dry bitterness into the finish. Nice.

An unclear dark orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet spicy - with coriander being most dominant. The flavor is sweet malty with a strong spicyness again especially coriander, but there also a light note of alcohol, before a dry hoppy end sets in. Quite nice for a Saison, but not my favorite style.

Cloudy yellow beer - resembles a wheat beer in appearance. Light crisp palate. Mildly bitter orange with a smooth sweet malty finish. Nice.

Hazy amber color; I have the impression that they can reduce the yeast sediment in their beers. Nice aroma, joining together the typical spicy aroma of a Saison with some hop fruitness. The taste as well is in line with the Belgian style, but a bit too aggressive, too bitter and lightly metallic at the end.
