One of our most refreshing brews, made for those hot summer days, but satisfying year ’round. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes well with seafood, particularly oysters.

Ingredients: Wheat and lager malt; East Kent Goldings and Crystal hops; Belgian ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

14°P, 25 IBU, 6.5 ABV.

Slight haze on this golden straw blonde pour. Minimal head. Zesty lemon and mandarine on the nose with hints of saison yeast. Light to medium body, a bit round in mid palate, herbal hops and citrus. Finishing on a very light and refreshing lemony astringency. Very nice sessionable saison.

Hazy yellow pour with a decent white head. Light grass and hay in the nose. A pleasant touch of yeast on the palate with some light cracker notes. Grass and lemon finish. No Dupont, but quite nice.

Saison aroma. Small white head. Hazy yellow. Yeasty, lemony, not dry enough to be perfect.

Bottle. Yellow, hazy, well carbonated. Citrusy, light coriander, hayish pale malty nose. Belgy yeastyness, very typical saison aroma. Smooth medium full body, refreshing, flavourful nice. This is a really clean, nice, text-book saison. Can’t find anything bad about it, except that it’s almost too textbooky.

500ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity and yeasty with some citrus. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a light earthy and yeasty finish. Light to medium body with good carbonation. A decent saison, but not quite up their with the best of the style.

Golden color. Tiny white foam. Goes down easy. No aftertaste. Smells of wheat. Little carbonation. Little bit boring.

On tap @ Albion NYC. Pours fairly clear yellow gold, small but lively head @ carbo. Aroma is bready, lots of pear & lemon, wheat, vague yeast. Flavor is similar, crispy zesty saison.. clean & drinkable.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a hazy straw-gold color with rising bubbles and a smallish foamy white head with short retention, and very little cling or lacing. Its aroma was a pleasant blend of floral scents with pine, yeast, wheat, and straw; perhaps some citrus fruit too. The taste was a sour fruity and floral mix with some herbal notes and bits of grain and yeast, along with a light sweet-bitter blend of citrus. It had a fairly lively and watery mouthfeel which was somewhat filling and crisp.
