On tap @ La Tape. Orangish colour with a creamy and off-white head with good duration. Aroma has floral and citrus hops. Flavor is slightly resins, bittery with a medium bitterness and with a good duration; also notes of orange peel and citrus are present. Bittery aftertaste with a decent duration and medium astringency.

1L squealer. Murky orange brown in semi dark, nice foamy head. Smells citrus fruit- sweeter end of lemon, some floral and malty sniffs. Tastes kind of mild, but balanced well with citrus hops, malts, nice bitter finish.

On draft at Churchkey in D.C. for the Nøgne Ø event. Thanks to Kjetil Jikiun. Review from notes.
The beer is orange and a tad hazy with a huge, fluffy, white head that leaves a generous amount of lacing on the glass.
The aroma does indeed offer a healthy amount of Citra hops. Definitely a fresh keg. Other reviews I have read mention a lack of aroma and hop character. This one is definitely meant to be consumed fresh.
The flavor is good, but does not match the quality of the aroma. Hop forward, with some tasty citrus notes. A subtle malt body adds depth and balance.
Pretty smooth on the palate, with some nice, lingering notes of fresh hops.
A solid beer. I am grateful to have sampled this fresh. Skål!

Much more British than I expected of the name. Very malty, slightly toasty body with some full but soft citrus, grass and flower notes. Easy, sweet finish. Good clean fun, but rather forgettable.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mcberko (4044) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 3, 2012
On tap at Apex, pours a cloudy, murky orange with a large, nitro-like off-white head. Aroma of floral hops and lots of biscuit. Flavour is not robustly hoppy, though with loads of floral notes, biscuity and crackery malt, and quite a restrained bitterness presence. Tastes more like a hoppy pale ale. Solid flavours and very refreshing. Good (I)PA.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 RexTalionis (1415) - FINLAND - OCT 26, 2012
Draught at Milenka, Helsinki. Poured clear yelloworange in color with a frothy white head. Loads of citrus, lemon and some sweet malts in aroma. Flavor is quite crisp citrus flavor with a nice malty body and a nice hoppy aftertaste as well. Tasty brew.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 PhillyCraft (1957) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2012
Tap at pour house, copper pour with medium off white head, tad bit of lacing. Aromas of wet wood, bread, spice, light citrus, hay. Taste is balanced but very english malt dominant, pretty much no citra juiciness coming through. Medium bodied, not a bad beer but I drank it next to a lagunitas day time. Another example of hoppy beers that should stay in their own damn country. It probably taste fine in Norway but not in NJ thousands of miles away. They do not survive the trip distributors! Wise up and stop shipping these overpriced offerings to us.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 TheCametron (1286) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 16, 2012
Keg at Holyrood 9a. Deep Amber with a white head. Unclear like it had been poured from the bottom a bottle. Aroma is very enticing. Lemon lime and sweet. Flavour has a medium syrupy sweetness and lots of Citric hop flavour. Quite yeasty. Perhaps not in it’s optimum condition. Very nice but not worth the price of admission.
