At Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Dark chestnut with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with oak character and a touch of smoke. Sweet fruity and malty flavour with a bit of smoke and dried fruit.

Brown color. Aroma of peat, wood. Good malt and caramel flavor, with very good components of wood, vanilla and peat; strong alcohol presence and bitterness.

Littlle head, dark brown. Nose with smoke and some fruity chocko and coffee underneath. Fullbodied and some length. Nice taste with soft chocko, lightly smoked coffee and a light prunish exit. Nice and wellballanced.

On draft @ HaandBryggeriet Beer festival 2012. Dark brown body with a small beige head. Aroma has roasted malt, smoke, perfume and Bourbon/Cognac. Flavor is sweet, smooth roasted malt, smoke, oak, dry fruit and both Bourbon/Cognac. Full body and aftertaste with smoke and warming alcohol. Very nice.

Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits, peat, oak and vanilla. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long smokey, malty sweet finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft.

From tap @Haand ØlFestival ’12. A low lightly tanned head, covering a shady dark brown colored body. Initial aroma of wood and well roasted dark malts, followed by a scent of burnt caramel, something herb-like, and faint alcohol. Succulent, full, almost flat body. Taste is sweet and roasty. Vanilla tones, hint of oak, charcoal and dark dried fruits. Warming alcohol and roasty bitterness in the ending.

tap at mikkeller bar hazy brown, small offwhite head. Aroma is distinctly peaty smoked, woody, slightly dark fruity. Flavor is very woody, very smoked, thick smoke flavor, charchoal, dried fruits, sweet malts, tart bretty notes from the wood, extreme smoked quad.

Draft. A red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of vanilla, brettanomyces, wood, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and brettanomyces, leaidng to a dry alcoholic finish.
