COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
21°P, 35 IBU.
Ingredients: Malted barley, wheat, malted wheat, sugar, hops, yeast and local Grimstad water. It is very difficult to brew a complex and balanced Belgian-style tripel ale, but we have made an attempt at brewing one anyway! Our respect and admiration for those who master the skill and art of brewing excellent ale of this style is limitless. Tripels often pair with cheese, seafood and fresh vegetables.

Pours a slightly cloudy ochre, small head. Plenty of spicy belgian yeast. Medium/light mouthfeel, slightly bitter finish.

Cloudy dark golden pour with average white head that sticks around. Lots of stone fruit and yeasty notes on the nose with some light citrus character. The palate is quite similar but there’s something slightly wrong about it. Finishes clean and slightly warm.

Bottle. Solid Tripel. Taste has somewhat devolved into tea like hops, prominent malt backbone. Probably way better fresh.

pours hazy/cloudy pale yellow with a small white cap, some retention. booze, golden candi, leather (non-brett-like), plastic toy fruits, hint of smoke and acidity, pepper, honeyed malts. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily, boozy and herbal-grassy finish. meh.

Bottle from Kris Wines. Orangey amber colour with a modest head. Full flavoured, sweet, yeasty, fruity. Ever so slight note of something heavy, slightly unusual for this sort of beer, couldn’t quite put my finger on it. But all these Nogne beers are just tasty.

Gold with white head that arises only after vigorous pour; familiar Belgian triple aromas of stone fruits and honey; complex finish that departs from typical Belgian tripels, delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours gold with white head. Nose of moderate spiciness, low esters, a tiny bit of smoke, none of that effervescent fruitiness found in the great tripels. Flavour is spice, a bit of smoke, mild alcohol. Misses the point of a tripel but the smoke was interesting at least.

virtually none head and lacing. white. fully diminishing. flat thick orangeish body. aroma: orange, alcohol, honey. if: moderate sweet. ff: moderate sweet light bitter; long duration. palate: medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, moderate alcoholic finish. Dulçor de laranja, menos alcoolico que das tripel belga, mas saboroso, aquecimento alcoólico escalante, não chega a incomodar, 51.9 100 s
