Ingredients: Malted barley, wheat, malted wheat, sugar, hops, yeast and local Grimstad water. It is very difficult to brew a complex and balanced Belgian-style tripel ale, but we have made an attempt at brewing one anyway! Our respect and admiration for those who master the skill and art of brewing excellent ale of this style is limitless. Tripels often pair with cheese, seafood and fresh vegetables.

Pours light orange with small pure white head. Apples, sourness, malt and barnyard in the nose. Spices and licorice with a strong malt body. Crisp and bitter with medium fizz and an abrupt finish.

Golden orange hazy colour with a citrusy fruit nose, apples, banana, coriander and a little tartness. Strong hints of Belgian yeast, quite an intense flavour to this beer, yeast, apple fruitiness, light spices and some sugar which probably comes from the sweetness of the wheat. The aroma had spice with fruity esters, some clove like tones. Slightly citrus like you get from oranges but did have some banana character which is very typical to this style.

0,5 l pullo @ Rantakylä. Samea toffeen ja oranssin keltainen. Tuoksussa hiivaa, mallasta, kirpeyttä, aivan pieni aavistus savua, tunkkaista hedelmää. Maussa mallasta, hiivaa, makeaa paahteisuutta, säilöttyjä hedelmiä.

Murky, light brown beer with a small white head. Fruity citrus and sourness on the nose. Medium sourness, a little funky flavor. Also notes of dried fruits. Soft carbonation. This is not my kind of a beer.

Golden colour, thin head. Aroma and flavour have grass, floral notes and a light spice. Sweetness is relatively low for a Tripel. Pleasant dryness in the finish.

Bottle thanks to Magnus! Pours a cloudy amber with a white head. Aroma has sweet esters, banana, clove, slight hops and surprisingly little alcohol. Taste is smooth and sweet with a slight bitter finish. Full body and an average carbonation.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow-orange with tiny off-white head. Aroma has tons of yeast, eatery and slight phenolic. honey, nectar. Taste is really sweet, nectar, honey flowers, malty, candied sugar. Slight dry booze in finish. Nice, but too sweet.
