Flaša. Tmavo oranžová farba, krásna biela pena, dlho držala. Vôňa sladká, ovocná, jemne karamelové tóny a broskyne. Taktiež cítiť alkohol. V chuti sladkosť, kvetinové a ovocné tóny, grapefruit, trávovosť a zemitosť. Telo plné, pekná vyváženosť sladkosti a horkosti. Veľmi pitné, ale alkohol je dosť citeľnŭ.

Bottle, thnx to Cunningham. Pours a deep dark amber beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma is very malty, lots of caramel ams citric notes. No real complexity in the aroma, it’s just nice. Flavor is nice and bittersweet, nice bitter grapefruit with some honey like malty influences. Nice, light bitter fruity aftertaste. Low carbo, decent mouthfeel, very nice beer.

The head on this beer lives a life on its own. Incredibly big and rising more than what one is used to. Beautiful hazy orange beer and lasting head. Not the strongest aroma but quality with grapefruit. This brewery is probably Norways best and one of the best in the world. I was expecting just a bit more of this, but it is very good. This one was bottled 2,5 months ago, maybe it would have been even sharper if I had it 1 month ago. Not too bitter, not too sweet.

nogne two captains pours a very hazy apple juice dark amber. It has a very thick head of off white bubbles. The nose is initially of wild honey, not overly sweet but full of clover blooms and tantalizing restrained sweetness. After the honey is a very mild hop presence, perhaps citrus or cedar, it’s a bit hard to discern. Taste is initially a bit funky and minerally, this fades as the restrained honey presence takes over mid swallow before resolving into a very light kiss of hops at the end. The Body is fluid and subtle with a kiss of bubbles. I think the appropriate term for this beer is subtle. From the nose to the finish it’s less about pure power and more about hints and whisps. Quite an atypical double IPA. Amazing. thoroughly enjoyable. I wish I had a few more.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours brownish amber with some sediment and an off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are resin, pepper, grapefuit, and caramel - with a bitter finish.

Golden, amber-yellow, with a decent, small head. My whole room smells like mango, peach and grapefruit, creating summer feelings, fantastic and intense aroma of fruity hops, spiced up with hints of honey. Fruity hoppiness onwards from the beginning, defined by orange, papaya and kiwi, then fruits turn more sour, to a lime impression, as dry hop bitterness hits the palate. Malt plays a minor role in this, adding a gentle sweet note, with hints of grass and oak to the dominating zestful fruit impression, which soon disappears, as the hops turn bitter. As lovely and calm as this beer starts, it soon turns bitter, in an exiting, crisp, refreshing way, without loosing its enjoyable balance. Throughout it remains very smooth, especially during the finish, in which bready malts shine through. Fantastic variety of tastes, every one of them very convincing. This certainly got a fuller body than their usual IPA, without turning too heavy and sweet. Very sour, slightly metallic aftertaste, due to lively carbonartion, which stays long on the palate.

Off orange to brown pour big full well laced off white head. Big fruit aroma grapefruit and light grass a touch of strawberry some warm alcohols and sweet malts. Well coated lightly creamy palate. Flavor is pretty bitter a good amount of grassiness in the finish lots of caramel an odd off taste that keeps it from excelling. A good beer but pretty pricey for the quality.

Pours a hazy orange. Aroma is oranges and piney. Taste follows the nose with a bitter finish.
