Bottle. Batch 808. Pours deep amber, slightly hazy. Small, but dense off white head. Strong, citrusy and piny aromas immediately, even before sticking my nose into the glass. When I do, I get a strong, floral aroma with some tropical fruit thrown in. Also some resin. Lovely! Full bodied mouthfeel. Full taste as well, with good combination between sweetness and bitter. Well balanced. Very good DIPA.

On tap at Pinocchio’s. Light orange color, smallish head. Immensely fruity and floral. Just plain delicious. Abundant melons, very Sculpinlike. Juicy pulpy mouthfeel. Yum. Only a mild bitterness, but well balanced. Excellent.

A-- Poured a dark, cloudy, dirty, brownish honey orange color. Two finger dirty off white head the quickly faded to just under a finger in height. Left nice looking lacing on the sides of the glass when receding. Good head retention on swirling and a little better put together on swirling. Much more compact. S-- Fresh orange, orange peel, cotton candy, grapefruit and Carmel. Almost like Caramelized oranges in a way. A couple of flashes of pine but this much more about fruit and Carmel. T-- Big dose of pine and fresh grapefruit and grapefruit peel in the first few sips. Doses of bitter orange peel as well. M-- Smooths out a lot in the mouth. Started getting peach along with orange and grapefruit peel again. Gets a touch syrupy here and there but quite nice. Finishes quite clean with pine and bitter grapefruit peel. More low carbonated in the mouth and medium feel. O-- Really a total stunner. Did not expect this to be that great but really caught me off guard.

Pours a hazy gold color with a little white head and no lacing. Aroma is one of the best! Floral rose hip, violet, lavender. Taste of hop citrus, grass, alcohol, and malts. A nice beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, amber (SRM 13) body.....nose is treacle, raisin, fig, light hop spiciness.....taste is sweet malts, with fig, raisin, dominate treacle, finishing with a light hop bitterness.....mouth feel thick, chewy, slightly sticky, alcohol warmth present, carbonation low. This is an English style Imperial. The malts are in ascendancy, with the hops slightly muted. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7

50 cl. bottle split with Belgbeergeek // I have been trying a lot of Nøgne Ø lately & more is coming up but I do really like their guys much like Thornbridge they appear to have managed to combine bigger production, distribution & reasonable prices whilst still being unquestionably craft & making some incredible stuff // I would say that Duvel in a way fits that bill in Belgium, they are cutting corners but their productions is huge // light amber with a smallish white head // smells fruity, apricots, yeast, fruity hops, touch tropical, my kind of DIPA // taste lightly bitter, touch floral, apricot, peach, exotic fruits, yeasty, hoppy, touch caramel, sweet punch // lightly tuned down carb. & medium body // lovely DIPA, fruity & with a light sweet touch, suits me perfectly

A nice sugary hop aroma. A cloudy orange brown. This is pretty good. Very dry hops right of the bat but with a lot of follow up fruitiness, mostly grapefruit but a bit of lemon too (which takes it down just a hair to me). Overall though very good.

Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Clear golden beer with a rich offwhite head. This is just the aroma I want from a DIPA. Fruity, hoppy and creamy. Citrus, grass, pineapple, mango, grapes, pear, pine, perfume notes, hay, lemongrass, whipped cream, vanilla notes. Hoppy grassy flavor, perfume, metal, citrus, grapefruit, pine, mango, citrus, pear notes, some pineapple, some warming alcohol. Long bitter fruity finish, pine, mango and apples, some hay and perfume. Wonderful beer, almost on the same level as Zombie Dust and other world class DIPA:s

Bottle from a trade with Palme. This beer is like blood orange and red grapefruit combined. First the looks - lovely amber red with a not too big head. Then the aroma - citrus, citrus and citrus. Orange, mandarine, grapefruit. Also some resiny note, melon, strawberries, ripe red apples, some toasted maltiness. Rich and highly aromatic. Rather full body, sweetish taste with a massive grapefruity bitterness. Citrus and resin in the flavour, with an aftertaste of strawberries, melon and mandarine. Warming finish. Excellent!
