A nice sugary hop aroma. A cloudy orange brown. This is pretty good. Very dry hops right of the bat but with a lot of follow up fruitiness, mostly grapefruit but a bit of lemon too (which takes it down just a hair to me). Overall though very good.

Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Clear golden beer with a rich offwhite head. This is just the aroma I want from a DIPA. Fruity, hoppy and creamy. Citrus, grass, pineapple, mango, grapes, pear, pine, perfume notes, hay, lemongrass, whipped cream, vanilla notes. Hoppy grassy flavor, perfume, metal, citrus, grapefruit, pine, mango, citrus, pear notes, some pineapple, some warming alcohol. Long bitter fruity finish, pine, mango and apples, some hay and perfume. Wonderful beer, almost on the same level as Zombie Dust and other world class DIPA:s

Bottle from a trade with Palme. This beer is like blood orange and red grapefruit combined. First the looks - lovely amber red with a not too big head. Then the aroma - citrus, citrus and citrus. Orange, mandarine, grapefruit. Also some resiny note, melon, strawberries, ripe red apples, some toasted maltiness. Rich and highly aromatic. Rather full body, sweetish taste with a massive grapefruity bitterness. Citrus and resin in the flavour, with an aftertaste of strawberries, melon and mandarine. Warming finish. Excellent!

16.9oz bottle, shared with abistany. Totally hazy amber / red / brown color. Darker than your typical IPA. Very nice thick off-white head, leaving good lace. Definitely very bitter, no shortage of that here. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Very dry finish. Citrus hops, some grapefruit, but also plenty caramel malts, especially through the finish. Spicy hops. Decent DIPA, but not terribly easy to drink. Weird bite and texture. I liked it more than Nogne O’s regular IPA I had a week or two ago, though. This is definitely more fresh. Probably still tastes better in Norway, though

Pours red orange with a lot of creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, floral, and caramel. Taste follows the nose starts out sweet and ends bitter.

Im a big fan of the regular IPA so was looking forward to this. although it did not disappoint, it wasnt up to the former. a lot more bitterness in there than the regular. big fresh citrussy hops though which go down well. very enjoyable.

The aroma is incredibly hopped with citrus and pine. There is a lot of malt too but it's overplayed by the hops. The appearance is amber with a large head that fades fast. The taste us like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall a good example of the style.

500ml bottle, 3.Mar.2012 Slightly hazy amber body, with small head that rapidly diminishes and leaves patchwork on top and glass. Very pleasant and rich aroma, sea, citrus black elder flowers, buttercup, chervil and wet grass after rain. This impression is mirrored also in taste. Very smooth and well balanced. With grilled stockfish dinner @ Arctandria, Tromsø.

Clear golden with an interesting head. Has a big mealty quality in the finish. Balanced, hops are in control. Frothy smooth. Nice but not wondrous. (tap at Bacchus, Newcastle)
