Hmm - the day before Yule and I wanted something good as a reward for washing and hoovering - and this was it: It is tasty, citrus-like - echoing the grapefruit juice for breakfast. A medium body and easy to drink. I have one more bottle, and that is tempting. It is bitter as a Double IPA should be - but perhaps without the hops really coming through. When I poured it, the head did not come out well - but I might have shaken it too much bringing it down from the attic and dissolved som of the yeast sediments. Anyway - a high overall rating. Enjoy!

Great amber colour and perfect head from bottle. Aroma is just subtle but smells of citrus. Taste is strong bitter but then mellows out.

Pale orange-golden pour. Slightly hazed with a thin white head. The aroma is very bright and hoppy with a lot of fruitiness. Pale malt sweetness along with some fruitiness as well. Orange and tangerine. Moderate bitterness but it’s fairly fresh, which is nice. Fairly juicy and pretty tasty.

This is one of the better DIPAs that I have enjoyed. Good colour and string smell. The taste is almost like a carmel candy, leaving my mouth bitter afterwards, thus demaending more beer. I could have drink 6 or 7 of these easy. Reminds me a lot of the summer Ale Smith DIPA.

Full balanced long lingering flavours of hops over a perfect balancing middle of pale malts. Citrus and sweet grass, hints aromatic pine. Pale tree fruit.

Pours hazy orange with a white head. Nice fruity grapefruit on the nose. Aroma of fruit, notes of pine and citrus. Very well balanced. For me, a flagship for IPA’s.

Good aroma, some nice citrus and grapefruit with some light caramel malts. Medium mouth feel, regular carb. As it warms the malts really meld with the hops and become quite sweet, and turns the beer into a hoppy caramel mess. Finishes quite bitter with a big dose of resin hops and sweet malts.

(500mL bottle from the LCBO, 5mo from bottling) Poured a deep brownish-orange with some fine particulate, small white head that faded quickly. Aroma citrus (grapefruit, orange rind), mango, wet vegetation, a little caramel malt; nice and juicy. Palate follows the nose with citrus, peach, dried apricot, brown sugar, finishes with a dry peppery hop bite and some lingering dried fruit. Balance of malt sweetness and bitterness to start, fairly bitter towards the end but not massively so. Mouthfeel is fairly full and sticky but carbonation just a bit on the high side of medium. Alcohol well-hidden, peeks through in the finish as it warms. Good DIPA, well-balanced, juicy and drinkable. Badass Twin Mustang on the label!

Meh..I’m not a big fan of IPAs/IIPAs from other countries. Not a bad beer, though. Aroma was good. Lemon, grapefruit and earth. Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger white head (got dark towards the bottom of the bottle). Taste was typical for a Nogne O hoppy beer. Not very hoppy, a little sticky and syrupy. The lemon and grapefruit were there, but they were very muted. Stronger malt profile. Good carbonation.

500ml bottle from the LCBO. Thick and cloudy deep amber with a large fluffy/fizzy lasting beige head. Smells great - alcohol, citrus zest, pungent floral bitterness, acidic and juicy - definitely a big one. Taste follows, but it seems a bit light-bodied barleywine-ish - very floral, borderline boozy, lightly sweet. Not as thick-bodied as I expected it would be, nicely carbonated, finishes medium-short, moderately bitter - surprisingly drinkable, I really expected this to be a monster - solid stuff, I will buy more.
