Botella 500 ml. Me mola.

Jan Halvor Fjeld, winner of Norwegian homebrewing championship 2010 brewed his champion double IPA at Nøgne Ø. We at Nøgne Ø are of course proud to be with him in making this happen. This double IPA is inspired by America. It is fairly dry, which allows the hops to dominate. There is bitterness up front, some balanced malts in the middle and complex fruity and resiny hop aromas which simply has no end. - nogne-o.com

Pours hazy and golden with a creamy and lasting white head. Fruity aroma of grapefruit and caramel with a hint of peaches. Medium to full body, thick feel, average carbonation. Well-rounded taste of pine, lemon zest and some hop resin. Delicious and long lasting finish with lots of refreshing hops.

A very balanced an tasty IPA, strong enough to feel a buzz after a pint, but not too strong so as to taste only alcohol. One of my favorites!
