50cl bottle. Pours a cloudy coffee colour with strong carbonation and a generous head. There seems to be some floating yeast. The nose has pine and grapefruit pith. The taste has grapefruit, them some earthiness, perhaps even beetroot or parsnip .The finish has biscuits, so very complex from start to end. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry zingy finish, Overall, just a bit too bitter on the finish but great up to that point.

Excellent IPA. A semi-sweet aroma. Pours a murky brown and has a well balanced presence of wonderful hops. Not overly bitter, not too weak....just right.

500 mL bottle for my 700th rating. Hazy orange amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma has a burst of citrus and floral hops at first, quickly receding into caramel and some toasty biscuit. Flavor starts out with an herbal tea impression, biscuit, somewhat faded hops, caramel. This tastes alright now, but it could have used a freshness date.

This IPA is like drinking a hops flower, just the way it should be. From nose to color to body to tongue this beer is a perfect reflection of balance and taste.

Pours a very cloudy dark golden orange that is completely opaque with faint tangerine edges and a frothy, pillowy white head. Excellent retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap that leaves rings and large chunks of soapy lacing behind. Dank, earthy hop aroma with some resinous oils and citrus notes along with a pale malt presence. Floral with lots of soil/pine character balanced by hints of tropical and citrus fruits. Hints of grapefruit, pineapple and orange peel balance by subtle biscuity malt. Chewy full body with a prominent spicy, earthy hop presence up front with a good balance of earthy and sweet notes. This lingers over the pale malt backbone into a slightly dry finish. The hop profile is complex, being floral, earthy, bitter, dry and sweet with no characteristic overpowering the others. Lots of dry pine needle countered by hints of grapefruit, pineapple and citrus rind. Malt presence has notes of biscuit and Graham but doesn’t get in the way of the hops. Subtle heat toward the end of the palate but the high ABV is nicely masked. Overall, this beer is complex, well balanced, flavorful and easy to drink.

Pours slightly hazed deep amber into a snifter. Off-white pancake hear recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet caramel and citrus aromas. Dry, earthy caramel upfront turning to deep, dark, nutty resin in the lasting finish.
