(Bottle) Pours hazy dark amber with an off-white head. The aroma holds boatloads of tangerines, resinous wood, pine, herbs, starfruit, wild strawberries and apricots. The malt brings bread, honey and mild caramel. Floral hints. The flavour is light sweet, medium to heavily bitter and light acidic. Tones of citrus, resinous wood, pine and bread. The mouthfeel round and soft with a light astringent ending. Light carbonation. Lingering resinous grapfruity finish. Medium bodied.

On tap at Tilt, Oslo. Dark golden with a small white head. Heavy hoppy aroma of citrus, pine, malt and herbs. Rich and full hoppy taste with some sweetness and good bitterness. A very decent DIPA with a nice citric and bitter finish.

Bottle at home. Dark orange amber, thick white head fades to nothing. Big floral citrus nose, hint of orange. Palate is hop-forward, juicy pithy grapefruit with a hint of sweet malts. Big bitter finish. Nice.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2013 50cl bottle. Pours rusty orange with huge off white head. Aroma full of waxy orange, pithy grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, floral notes and some sweet malt. Taste is of zesty orange, mango, pithy bitter grapefruit, some slightly perfume-like floral notes, light caramel malt sweetness, and a touch of bready yeast. Lovely DIPA with a long and satisfying pithy, waxy bitter aftertaste: very good stuff.

A very tasty double ipa. One of my favourites. The alcohol is there, but not too strong. Floral citrus abounds. Nicely bitter.
