UPDATED: MAR 19, 2013 50cl bottle. Pours rusty orange with huge off white head. Aroma full of waxy orange, pithy grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, floral notes and some sweet malt. Taste is of zesty orange, mango, pithy bitter grapefruit, some slightly perfume-like floral notes, light caramel malt sweetness, and a touch of bready yeast. Lovely DIPA with a long and satisfying pithy, waxy bitter aftertaste: very good stuff.

A very tasty double ipa. One of my favourites. The alcohol is there, but not too strong. Floral citrus abounds. Nicely bitter.

Gold pour with white head and lace. Aroma dominated by resiny hops. Sweet malty start that drives to a perfumy front and ends in a resiny bitter. Medium bodied but a tad fizzy.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Cloudy pale amber, small head. Concentrated mintycitris grapefruit aroma. Above medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Mid sweet with an abundance of grapefruit and lychee. Straightforward with all focus on citric hops. Balanced bitterness. Well drinkable for a double IPA.

Pours cloudy mahogany with a small sustained white head. Aroma of spruce and grapefruit, with a faint malty background. Big bitter flavour, earthy and citric, more grapefruit.. Complementing the bitterness is a sharp caramel malt sweetness. Full body and pleasing light carbonation. Very nice.

(Draught@Pikkulintu, rated 2011-07-08) Murky reddish brown with a small, lightly lacy head. Exotic fruit, some creaminess, and toffeeish maltiness in the nose. Exotic-fruity flavor, caramely-malty, not too bitter. Medium to full body, soft with low CO2. A quite pleasantly fruity DIPA, although not quite as good as the #500 - at least on draught.
