Tallahassee, Fl - Quick N Save - 500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy, medium orange pour, off-white head that clings to the edge of the glass. Strong spruce aroma, floral hints, some nectarines. Flavor is full bodied with heavy citrus bitterness, a touch of nectarine fruitiness, some cake mix sweetness. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it. Pretty decent.

50cl bottle served in a Four Hands pint glass. Bright orange colour with floating flakes of sediment and a welcoming fluffy white head which lasts admirably. Aroma is flowery hops with a slightly medicinal quality. Taste is hop dominated but not as bitter as you would expect at the IBU level. This is down to the quite generous malt content which does not overpower but allows the intense flavours of the hops to be showcased whilst not destroying your palate for future beers with intense bitterness (ala Ruination). I quite like both interpretations of IIPA but this is certainly more friendly if you wanted to have a few different styles in a session.

the aroma is fruity with hints of pine, citrus, spices and, a little bit, resin... the taste is rough, malty and fruity with notes of grapefruit, pine needles, pepper and some other spices... sweet, bitter and very spicy aftertaste...

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2015 24.4.2015: 0,5l bottle from the duty free shop at Flesland. Orange, very hazy. Off-white head, two fingers. Yeasty and fruity aroma. Heavy on the pineapple. Some gum. Really fresh and light aroma. Woody and earthy hit on the flavour. Yeast. Not as fruity as expected. No citrus. Thick and oily. Stark contrast to the aroma. Taking small sips, this is lovely. Larger sips, the ABV and yeast gets overpowering. All in all, a slight disappointment. Score: 3,7. 12.05.2015: Lovely aroma and appearance. First whiff is fruity and fresh. A deeper whiff reveals the underlying high ABV and yeast. This time the first hit of flavor reminds me of bark or dried leaves. It really is too heavy on the yeast and alcohol, perhaps also a bit too bitter, to be really enjoyable. I find it hard to come up with a good food pairing for this beer. This is a meal in itself. Again, slightly disappointing. Score still: 3,7 though as this definitely has character and stands out.
