3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased in 0.5L bottle at Sola Airport, Stavanger. Pours a thick, hazy bronze with a white-ish head. Taste is also thick and heavy with some fruitiness but mostly a full, bitter hop taste of hay and straw. It is like a typical English IPA but much more so, with an exaggeratedly heavy hop taste and a thick texture heavy in alcohol. An excellent Imperial IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bit of a war buff so love the North American F-82 Twin Mustang on the label - have no idea the relevance but cool none the less. Into a tulip at just on cool it goes as it was keen to get out the bottle. Hazy and opaque, amber chestnut with fine conditioning. Head is a lofty mess of suds that daubs a thick lace. Huge, sticky malt and hop nose brimming with resinous, sappy notes, hints of marmalade and pinewood, nettles, rose petals and grapefruit. On the palate it cedes a juicy, fruity sweetness hinting at apricot, peaches and orange before a husky, whole pineforest of hops takes over. Chunky with good body and a dry, resinous and assertively bitter finish. Long, piney and woody swallow with plenty of floral pot pourri. Not afraid to show the alcohol there is good warmth in the finish but it melds in well. Drinks well even as it warms to room temperature. A great homebrew as it was. Lovely!! 4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
500m bottle @Bierhof, Athens. Pours hazy orange/amber with some particles, rich lasting off-white head, medium to full body, rich oily mouth feel, dry and bitter finish with some hints of sour aftertaste. Malts and hops mix wonderfully and give a very balanced Imperial IPA. Caramel sweetness and, at times, bread combined with citrusy aromas like orange and bitter fruit peels, tints of apricot and exotic fruits. Very tasty, very drinkable. Great!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
In bottiglia.

bottle shared amongst beer afficionados. A well balanced IPA, getting very close to a noble barley wine though. Very rich, very nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours golden, with a small creamy head. Aroma is bitter, followed by nice tropical hops with mango, apricots pineapples and lychee. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter hops with grapefruit, resin, orange peel and peaches, as well as light roasted malts with toffee and floral notes. Sweetly hoppy finish, with a nice lingering bitterness.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle, many thanks to Gunnar! Pours a deep burnt orange with off white head. Orange boiled sweet aroma. Perhaps a little too slick and overly hopped for me. Lots of orange but it becomes a bit overpowering, sticky & boozy to be enjoyable. Disappointing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle thanks to Magnus! Pours a totally clear amber with a small white head. Aroma has lots of grassy hops, citra or simcoe as well. Taste is fruity and bitter with a balanced malt backbone. Light and drinkable for it’s style.
