Pours hazy amber with thick creamy white head and tons of lace. Aroma is grapefruit, spruce. Taste grapefruit forward, some sweet maltiness, strong bitterness with a sticky long finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Shmupi. Orange golden with a big head. Smell of stale fruity hops, orange jam and caramel. Sweet-sour with some fruitiness and caramel, strong hops bitterness, a bit harsh and not balanced. Medium-bodied, not fresh enough.

Bottle sample at Vova’s Hoppy Beerthday tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin, Tel Aviv. Thanks Shmupi. Deep golden-orange with white head and some particles. Piney aroma, some citrus, skunky with notes of socks. The flavor has medium hoppy bitterness, piney with some citrus (orange), sweetish, old and unbalanced, dry. Medium-bodied.

Amber, medium head, some lacing. Not intensive fruity and citrus aroma, taste malty sweet, balanced with medium bitterness and some alcohol on finish. It is drinkable but nothing extraordinary. If the recipe is the same as in 2010 it is no surprise this beer today is not that spectacular, as it was 5 years ago. 100 IBU? No way.

Murky orange colour with a heavy off-white head, aroma of oranges, mangoes, hops, lemons, sweet caramel, candied citrus peel and a lot more delicate flavours. Lots of grapefruit, loaded with hops, really good DIPA

Uwagi: Kupione w strefie bezcłowej na lotnisku Oslo-Rygge Podane: 2015.08.23, 0,33l Lager. 8°C Partia: (nr. partii nieczytelny) 30.04.2017, 0,5l butelka
Wygląd: Piana obfita. Bez pomocy prawie wyszła ze szkła. Opadła umiarkowanie szybko, ale do końca pozostała trwała i spójna, półcentymetrowa warstwa. Zamglona, głęboko bursztynowa barwa. Z prememdytacją dolany spory osad, głównie zbite chmieliny. Koronkowanie bardzo skromne.
Aromat: Zdecydowanie chmielowy. Głównie zielony, pierwszy raz określenie "trawiasty" jest w moim mniemaniu pozytywne. W połączeniu z kwiatowymi nutami przypomina kwitnącą łąkę. W towarzystwie cytrusowy, głównie cytrynowy i grejpfrutowy. Mango.
Goryczka potężna i szlachetna, piołunowa. Długi i czysty posmak chmielowy.
Odczucie: Pełnia oczywiście spora. Lekkie rozgrzewanie dopiero w żołądku. Wysycenie miękkie i dość niskie. Lepkie, ale bardzo pijalne.
Ogólnie: Bardzo zacny DIPA. Piwo mocarne i zbalansowane.
English version maybe later.

Purchased in 0.5L bottle at Sola Airport, Stavanger. Pours a thick, hazy bronze with a white-ish head. Taste is also thick and heavy with some fruitiness but mostly a full, bitter hop taste of hay and straw. It is like a typical English IPA but much more so, with an exaggeratedly heavy hop taste and a thick texture heavy in alcohol. An excellent Imperial IPA.

Bit of a war buff so love the North American F-82 Twin Mustang on the label - have no idea the relevance but cool none the less. Into a tulip at just on cool it goes as it was keen to get out the bottle. Hazy and opaque, amber chestnut with fine conditioning. Head is a lofty mess of suds that daubs a thick lace. Huge, sticky malt and hop nose brimming with resinous, sappy notes, hints of marmalade and pinewood, nettles, rose petals and grapefruit. On the palate it cedes a juicy, fruity sweetness hinting at apricot, peaches and orange before a husky, whole pineforest of hops takes over. Chunky with good body and a dry, resinous and assertively bitter finish. Long, piney and woody swallow with plenty of floral pot pourri. Not afraid to show the alcohol there is good warmth in the finish but it melds in well. Drinks well even as it warms to room temperature. A great homebrew as it was. Lovely!! (50cL, brewed 05/12/14, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)
