500mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours an opaque dirty orange with a big off-white head. Aroma of pungent grapefruit, citrus hops, caramel and a slight metallic note. Flavour is very bitter, with heaps of grapefruity hops above anything; a caramel malt backing is definitely there, but the grapefruit is so potent with bitterness - not terribly complex. Very pleasant, though the other Nøgne Ø double IPAs are superior, especially the brilliant #500.

Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours hazy amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of strong cat pee. Med+ body. Flavor is strong citrus rind, overwhelming the malt. Strong flavor, that mellows and generates a floral touch. Harshly lush. Extremely tasty.

500ml bottle (Old Bank, Turku)
Poured by the barmaid with all the crud, so not necessarily as clean as it could be. Hazy orange, small persistent head. Slightly messy stodgy components to the aroma, but a plasant caramelly sweetness, and good sticky fruity hops. Comes alive in the mouth, a veritable smorgasbord of sticky fruity hops and juicy caramelly malts. Nice bitter tingle in the finish. Big fat and juicy, and feels like one you could return to pint after pint.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick thick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy hoppy bittersweet flavor with a good bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Complex very good brew.
