Tap 33cl. Grünerløkka Brygghus. Nice white sidesticking head. A citric fruity aroma, hard to tell. Sweet rotten pear perhaps. Sweet taste of syrup and sugar. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Orange ambrée trouble, effervescence faible, col blanc crémeux tombe vite. Les houblons attaquent rapidement le palais, y déployant toute leur amertume fruitée et résineuse. Dommage qu’elle soit légèrement écoeurante...

Served on tap at O’reilly’s during IPA day.

A - Pours murky golden orange with a nice pillow of one and a half finger tall white head leaving light lace down the glass.

S - Smells of dulled citric hops, lightly toasted caramel malt, pine resin, and some light citric fruit; mostly oranges. This one smelled a little stale but it was still pretty decent.

T - Starts off with a big dose of caramel malt sweetness slowly giving way to a mix of dulled citric hops, pine resin, oranges, grapefruit, and some light chewiness. The finish is a mix of light citric hop bite and dryness, lingering on the pallet for some time.

M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. A bit syrupy with a nice, dry, hop bite at the very end.

O - Not too bad. I think this one may be on the verge of going off a cliff. I am glad I got to try it but I won’t be running back over here for more.

Hazy orangeish brown color. Smells like a beer. Also smells like my back lawn. Grass and more grass with the sticks that hit my bocce balls. How rude. Taste is similar to what i would think the back lawn would taste like. Very bitter. Not bad!

Oh capitani, miei capitani!

Bottle. Hazy brownish orange pour with a short creamy white head that lasts a while. Aroma has some underlying biscuity malt but is dominated by hoppy notes of orange, grapefruit, peach, melon, apricot, lime, mint and pine. Flavour is very much like the aroma: biscuity malt with lots of herbal, grassy, fruity hops, as well as some earthy, mineral notes. Medium bodied with an oily mouthfeel, prickly carbonation and a long bitter finish. Interesting example of the style; although very much a strong, assertive, new-world DIPA, the emphasis on the English yeast and hops set it apart. And a very fine brew regardless.

DAA; Pours hazy orange with off-white head. Aroma of fantastic, floral, fruity, citrus and sweets. And yes, taste is much the same, add balance between hop, sweetness and oily mouthfeel. Yes, and yes again; this is beer...!!
