500ml bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a reddish amber colour with with a nice 2cm head with solid lacing. Aroma is strong floral, with notes of pine and some tropical fruit thrown in. Taste is dry with lots of lovely tasting hops. Is a big beer but goes down easily for the alcohol level. Great beer!

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2013 (50 cl bottle courtesy of Mark, thanks!; Batch 922; Brewed on June 2nd 2013) Pours a slightly hazy amber with little, white head. Decent retention, lace and regeneration. Aroma is yeasty with notes of citrusy hops. Oily texture, medium carbonation, full body and an astringent, warming finish. Flavour is bitter and boozy with sprucy notes. Original rating from February 23rd 2013: (50 cl bottle from Den Nordiske Ølhandel; bbd: March 6th 201<illegible>) Pours a hazy amber with medium white head. Good retention and lace. Decent regeneration. Aroma is a subtle hoppy with fruity notes and an acidic hint. Oily texture, medium carbonation, full body with a warming finish. Taste is boozy with fruity notes and an astringent finish. Dipa is just not my favourite style. Girlfriend says "I like the aroma but it’s too bitter for me."

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber, with a smallish off-white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves a little lacing. Spruce and lemon rind hops notes sit over a base of burnt caramel malt to create the aroma. Strong grapefruit and lime hops up front give way to a malty body of burnt caramel. Assertive pine hops come through in the finish. All in all, a pretty solid IIPA, with enough malt to back up its hops.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 500ml bottle served in a pint glass. A: Nice and classic Nogne bottle art. Pours a clear light orange color forming a huge and bubbled white head. Good retention and lots of soapy and lingering lacings formed and left in the glass S: Strong fruity and citrus notes. Grapefruit, pine and pineapple. Sweet pale grains. Flowery hops T: Slightly sweet upfront. Very citrus notes. Grapefruit, pineapple, pine. In overall, a slightly sweet taste followed by a strong and pleasant hops bitterness. Well hidden 8.5% ABV M: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Fruity, citrus and piny aftertaste O: Great drinkability. Another Nogne classic [ BA Review @ 6/27/2014 ]

500 nl. bottle pours a cloudy amber color with decent khaki head and some lacing. Aroma is full of citrus and piney hops, with enough caramel malt to keep things balanced. Taste is slightly sweet at first (malts) and then quite bitter for the finish. Body is medium without too much carbonation. A very enjoyable IIPA

Bottle. A hazy pale to medium amber beer, with an abìverage sized, frothy, fully lasting white head. The aroma is lightly malty (caramel), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin), with notes of oranges and exotic fruits juice. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately sour, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety/oily texture, lively carbonation, very long finish with moderate to heavy bitterness, lightly to moderately alcoholic. It looks good and it has a very nice mouthfeeel, only lightly abrasive and not tongue scraping. Perhapos the aroma doesn’t add anything tgo the style, being maybe straightforward, but it’s pleasant. Solid example, as expected from Nogne O.
