This IPA is like drinking a hops flower, just the way it should be. From nose to color to body to tongue this beer is a perfect reflection of balance and taste.

Oj..denna går rakt in i hjärtat.

Oh my GOD... this Double IPA is incredible. From Norway too! This can go head to head with any heavy weight American IPA. Whoa! !!

This is one of the better DIPAs that I have enjoyed. Good colour and string smell. The taste is almost like a carmel candy, leaving my mouth bitter afterwards, thus demaending more beer. I could have drink 6 or 7 of these easy. Reminds me a lot of the summer Ale Smith DIPA.

0,5l bottle from Alko. Poured a nice head, clear copper color. Loaded with hops, as an Imperial IPA should be. After the onslaught of hops I get some sweetness and a robust body, which brings a needed balance. This is very similar to Brewdog Hardcore IPA, maybe not as sweet. Aftertaste isn’t that long and is mostly all about the hops. Only downside was the amount of flaky yeast in the bottom that didn’t look too good in the bottle. Overall one of the finest samples of Imperial IPAs.

A nice sugary hop aroma. A cloudy orange brown. This is pretty good. Very dry hops right of the bat but with a lot of follow up fruitiness, mostly grapefruit but a bit of lemon too (which takes it down just a hair to me). Overall though very good.

Gorgeous amber colored beer with a fruity aroma. The beer has a little white head. The two Captains double IPA has a citrus aroma to it, and smells refreshing. The beer has a medium sweet taste. This is a medium bodied lively beer. Nøgne Ø Two Captains would be great on a nice sunny summer day!

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with an off-white foamy head, decent retention and lots of soapy lace. Lots of sediments floating all-over as well. Aromas of fresh hop at first, but seems to be taken over by the alcohol, caramel warmth with some notes of fruits (orange, peach). Good, almost full body, with some nice mild dryness in the finish, but a better wetness all-the-way, making this one well-balanced. Easy to drink, with the hop in the taste, but not overdone. Grapefruit, malt and hints of toffee. Nice citrus zest in the aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from Capone’s. Nice to see the Nords have finally named a beer after the Captain married to Toni Tenille and Captain Kangaroo; definitely two of the best captains ever. Prank news caller Captain janks would be high on my list, too. Anywho, the pour here is turbid orange with a huge fluffy white head, and mild gushing upon opening. The nose is orange marmaladey and mangoey fruit, hops, resiny, with a solid earthy caramel malt bill. Tastes resiny, hoppy, heavy on the IBUs, with rich caramel malt, tropical fruit such as tangerine, mango, pineapple, navel orange, and even more bitterness as it warms. Palate is medium to hefty, astringent, complex, and a hop lovers wet dream. This one kicks substantial ass.
