Bomber from Capone’s. Nice to see the Nords have finally named a beer after the Captain married to Toni Tenille and Captain Kangaroo; definitely two of the best captains ever. Prank news caller Captain janks would be high on my list, too. Anywho, the pour here is turbid orange with a huge fluffy white head, and mild gushing upon opening. The nose is orange marmaladey and mangoey fruit, hops, resiny, with a solid earthy caramel malt bill. Tastes resiny, hoppy, heavy on the IBUs, with rich caramel malt, tropical fruit such as tangerine, mango, pineapple, navel orange, and even more bitterness as it warms. Palate is medium to hefty, astringent, complex, and a hop lovers wet dream. This one kicks substantial ass.

A very tasty double ipa. One of my favourites. The alcohol is there, but not too strong. Floral citrus abounds. Nicely bitter.

0.5L bottle. Orange pour, thick creamy off-white head. Aroma of hops. Floral aroma covers up the heavy scent of biscuit malt. Herbal hop essence coats the tongue. Flavors carry a tropical fruit character; pineapple, grapefruit, orange zest. Perfect balance, hearty body but not heavy, smooth flavors. Loads of citrus rind bitterness carries through the end of the palate. Soft and easy to drink. (3627)

The perfect beer? Very bitter, a beer for "hopheads ". Murky appearance, unfiltered with yeast sediments in bottle. Don't worry if yeast makes it into glass, still tastes terrific. Highly recommended!

The smell is malty, hops, one of the best smelling beers I have had. Beautiful honey blonde just like your favorite stripper. The taste is barley, hops, honey which surprises you. Great taste, the sweetness really evens out the bitterness. Great double IPA.

Clear gold color with a large white head, nice lacing. Aroma is heavy hoppy citrus - orange, grapefruitm malty and some carmel, all is well balanced. Flavor is hoppy, malty and sweet, bitternes with a long duration - nice one. Aftertaste is just what I want in IIPA, perfect. It’s a combination of grapefruit’s bitterness and orange sweetnes. Medium body, texture is oily, soft carbonation. Really very drinkable. The whole creates a perfect combination. :D
